Ravens are bringing in Evan Mathis to visit and to possibly replace Ben Grubbs in our line-up. He will potentially be much cheaper and last year he finished as a top 10 guard.

Michael Oher tweeted that he talked to grubbs and is very optimistic on the situation BUT if it doesn't work out, yes i would want him.

He would be a pretty solid pick up. Only 30 years old, and from what I've read, Eagle fans are pretty bummed about him leaving.

I just wish we could get a tackle and bid farewell to Oher.

Grubbs is a big lost, almost as big as us needing a solid tackle. If we cam plug him in and get consistency im all for it.

I'm reserving my judgment on Mathis. I like him, I liked the way he played last year, I like his motivation. I dislike that last year was his best year, that he's been injured before that, and that he could be a one-year wonder. If he comes cheap, I'm happy.

I think he only was succesfull when he played for the current Eagles Oline coach, dont know that for sure though

We need to see what we can get for Oher, or maybe he shows the same promise from his first year this time around.. I would rather trade if Winston shows interest in playing for us.

Nah, then we'd have to find his replacement in a couple years again anyway. The interior linemen in this class is pretty deep; now'd be a good time to snag one for great value in the 2nd or 3rd

hightower could fall, it looks like the eagles are signing lofton, hawthorne is still out there, and the ilb needy teams our us, seattle, falcons now and pitts.. hawthorne will go to seattle or falcons, kuechly will go to seatlle if they dont get hawthrone or fall in the first. so that pushes hightower back into the second possibly where we could trade up.. we would need to move up to mid teens so no one jumped us though... of course this is all speculative

if he was falling though and we took adams in the first, i would give up next years first for a 2nd and 3rd this year, or a 2nd this year and 2nd next year and take hightower. Add that to mathis, and we have solidified a couple of weaknesses. Could then gra blake and a WR and we are set to make a run

Bringing in Winston would put pressure on Oher and he needs that. If we can get Winston & Mathis at a reasonable price, I'm sure Ozzie will do that. And yes, like many have pointed out Oher CANNOT play LT. So, what does that say? It says the same thing our organization has always said: The best people for the best price will play. Love Oher and his story but this is [u]business[/u] and need to lookout for our best interest even if that means Oher potentially doesn't start.

The focus is absolutely on our O-Line as we're about to make Flacco a very rich man....need to make sure he's as protected as possible. That's also the reason we made Grubbs a "very lucrative offer" (yet, specific #'s were not disclosed). If Grubbs thinks he worth more than he actually is (remember he does have that lingering toe issue which can end careers), then he will have to get overpaid somewhere else.
