Redding Signed By Colts

55 posts in this topic

i'm curious to see how many sacks mcphee can get as a full time starter. i believe he had over 6 sacks just playing 3rd downs? pretty darn good. should be a great season for mcphee AND kruger this year, will be given their opportunities.

Nothing's official yet but wouldn't surprise me, especially since the Colts are dangling Freeney as trade bait.

I am not surprised at all. It makes the most sense for all parties. We have McPhee, who really impressed. We have Jones, who has had flashes of brilliance. I think it's time to let the young guys step up. I expect Redding, JJ, McKinney, & Haruki to join Pagano. I think Zibby will join Rex or go to Chicago. McClain I see him going to Philadelphia.

As for Grubbs, shoot, I don't know. I just don't think he is wearing our colors next year, as sad as that is. I only expect us to re-sign Ray Rice. I think he's the only unrestricted free agent we have that we get back. Well, outside of Birk & Gurode, though I find Birk more likely to return than Andre.

Redding played really well this past season, but I won't be sad to see him go. Between McPhee and Arthur Jones, the team shouldn't struggle to replace him next season.

Honestly first time I've seen it, it's great though.

I'm partial to ManQuan, but that's an easy one.

I still doubt McPhee's ability to hold up at the point of attack for 40+ snaps a game. There's going to be a heavy rotation of Art Jones mixed in with McPhee. Look for McPhee to be a 2nd and long and 3rd down player.

Hope redding takes the logjam known as jj with him, let's start getting the youngsters some reps and getting Suggs help on other side

After we lose a few players, we will evaluate our needs and look for cheap replacements in FA and the draft. It's the Ravens way.

let me put this out there. i actually like Redding! i love his aggressive mentality and he played well for us. with that said, i don't want to see him go BUT if he does, McPhee is a young lion that is ready to roar for the Ravens.

Redding brought veteran leadership to our locker room too lets not forget that. He was also a great player here. Wouldn't mind seeing him to the colts as Pags is their coach. As long as he doesn't go to the Jets.

I'm calling it right now, our run defense suffers early and rounds into form around week 5 next year.

Doesn't surprise me - every time a coordinator leaves they take some of our players with them. McPhee will do just fine.

agree.
also, sorry man but Robert Meachem. Signed with Chargers.

Time for the Pernellephant and the Artvark to step in and go beast mode on that offensive line.

I'll admit that Artvark isn't nearly as good as when I though of the Pernellephant but I mean Art Jones could have a NOSE for the ball....
