What Did The Starting Oline Look Like Today?

10 posts in this topic

They could have been better early on but they played well in the second half. The backs didnt get much running room early and Miami put a little pressure on Flacco early but thats about it.

LT Gaither - LG Grubbs - C Brown - RG Chester - RT Anderson

The O-Line looked pretty good. Chester surprised me a little, blocked really well. Anderson continues to struggle against pass rushers. I also have no clue why Neal was blocking Porter so often.

Chester and Anderson seemed to be beasts in the running game yesterday. I think partly because the left side of Miami's D-Line was weak. But we kept pounding the run to that right side. That's where we got a lot of our big runs from.

Our left side played consistent football. Kept the pass rushing down and assisted in the run game.

So far it looks like all the rotating that Cam and the O-line coach did during Training Camp has paid off. Chester started out here in Bmore as a center I beleive but can now play consistent ball at guard. I hope the rest of our depth there at O-line can step in and do the same if needed. Good coaching is really starting to pay off.

was I the only one that got kinda annoyed at the stupid commentator keep referring to Jared Gaither's 'rough game' against indy? where he locked down Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis was reaking havoc on the other side, recording 3 sacks.

Yeah, that was just silly. I'm sure he meant Willie Anderson.
