Larry Grant - Filled In For P Willis

Ok so were short at LB positions, ellerbe is in the dog house, McClain may get signed elsewhere.

Larry Grant filled in for Patrick Willis when he got injured, he got an original tender today from the team(former 7th round pick). He was really strong in coverage last year and filled in well for Patrick Willis when he got hurt. In three starts he had 39 Tacles, 5 PDs, 2 Sacks and FF.

I would look at giving my 7th for this guy. He would provide solid depth, and with his coverage skills (primarily a nickel LB prior to this) he is the kind of LB our defense needs. Would be the perfect replacement for BA, but aat 6'1 251 he offers a lot more in run support. He would be better than Ellerbe, maybe not as good as McClain in general play, but would make up for it in coverage, so their game as a whole would be a wash.

everyone else is doing it, how the hell is the manning one allowed and all the WRs one yet this one isnt.. I was told they werent going to be moved, so i put it in Ravens talk with the rest off them, and only because the other ones are there... otherwise i would have put it here, so why is this moved yet the others arent?

Because Grant is not a free agent...he 'belongs' to another team.

well manning doesnt belong to us, so he shouldnt be in the ravens talk either then... you cannot justify keeping that thread there, and the othe rones, yet move this.. this is more of a need and realistic than manning

I would def give my 7th for the guy if he is as good as you're saying. I won't lie I havent done any research on him, but there has to be a reason the 9ers only gave him a 7th round tender.

If he's an RFA, yes!!!!! He sounds good, and he looked good to me. Don't see why not!

He's worth a 7th rounder even if the sample size is small, but it's unlikely that Harbaugh would want to ruffle his brothers feathers. He's unstable enough as it is.

What there saying is players that are not on a team go in the ravens talk. Ones that are on another team, has to go in other teams section. Because they are on another team.

But I would give up a seventh for him. And the team comes before his brother lol
