Can we not lock these threads immediately unless there is some sort of credenece to us signing said Free agent. Now for example, i have read multiple sources saying we are one of the teams workinbg out randy moss, we probably wont sign him, but we have been linked to him so a thread is ok.

Some threads are just totaly pointless, such as the hines ward one, the mike wallace one, theres even one on carl nicks, and now peyton manning... unless there has been word from our HQs where interested in said player, or the media have linked us to said player, or said player says he would love to play for the ravens there is absolutely no need for a thread on it.. imho they should be locked immediately unless there is some link posted linking us to said player in one way or the other.

to be honest it brings down the creditabiliy for lack of a better word of the board and posters with all these threads, its just getting ridiculous...
