no it doesnt.. if they elect the june 1st date they save 2.5 million, but that means for the ravens the cut effectively doesnt happen to then, ie they dont get the 2.5 cap space to then. If they dont use the june 1st date if only saves us $600K.

The difference bewteen them two ($1.9mil) would then be carried as dead cap in 2013 if we use the june 1st deadine, otherwise we dont get any relief for the $1.9 mil hence only the 600K saving.

So its either 600K or 2.5 mil, depends if the ravens elect the june 1st date for this too happen

It was bad luck and a bad situation. Last year he signed a lucrative contract [b]and [/b]then could not stay healthy enough to be on the field for the Ravens to trust him. To me, his injuries were bad luck, and they spelled his demise.
BTW, I wanted the Ravens to sign Wilson, not Carr last year.

[size=4]I don't mind standing corrected for using the word "foot" instead of ACL ([font=arial, sans-serif]one of four major knee ligaments) injury...
