Yeah, definitely Boller.
it was hard to choose him though because he did help deliver a division title in 03 he went 5-3 before getting hurt but i based it on overall expectations lol. I would also say kindle at the point is one of our worst picks ever

I would have to say Boller but mainly because of the hype he had coming from cal and how successful they had been
Dan Cody.

Yeah, Boller was bad but at least we got a couple seasons out of him.

Sergio Kindle might be the next Cody though...

Joe Flacco man just doesnt put up stats. I mean ALMOST every thing you dont want in a QB, wins, doesnt get flusterd, game winning drives, great deep ball, size, decent feetwork in the pocket he has, but the thing you most covert, stats, he doesnt have it, waste of a pick!

I know this was sarcasm but you should definitely have just not gone there lol.

I would have to say Boller is our worst. Dan Cody deserves a mention

Let's keep this from being a Flacco thread!

Kyle Boller and Dan Cody... I'll throw in Adam Terry and Musa Smith, too.

Dan Cody or Kindle. I mean I know Boller was a bad pick but at least he did something. I mean come on, he ALMOST beat the 07 Patriots, if it wasn't for the fact Clayton was short like 2 yards of the end zone. Cody did nothing and Kindle is looking like a bust but then again he hasn't been on the field so it's hard to really judge Kindle.

It has to be Kyle Boller. Remember, we traded back INTO the first round in 03 to take him, costing us our first round pick in 04. That pick turned out to the the 21st pick overall. The following pro-bowlers were within 14 picks of that gaffe: Vince Wilfork, who the Patriots used our 21st pick on, Steven Jackson to the Rams at 24, Jason Babin to Houston at 27, and Chris Snee at 34. Kyle Boller not only set us back in his draft, but the next draft as well.

None worse than Kyle Boller and Cody. Kindle tumbled down two flights of stairs. Amazed he just has hearing loss and didn't lose his life. Boller ultimately cost Billick his job..

Can't agree with Musa. He was an absolute beast until his leg got shattered.

He did more after his leg was broken and was touted as a beast coming out of Georgia, he was supposed to be a steal.

Boller clearly takes the "top" spot.

I'd actually have David Pittman second. A third round pick in '06, he wasn't active for a single game his rookie year. Still, he was able to watch C-Mac and Rolle in practice everyday. Buried on the depth chart the next year, he finally got an opportunity due to numerous injuries at CB and proceeded to get roasted. I'll never forget him having to touch the turf to keep from falling after biting on double move against the Colts. He picked off Charlie Batch twice in the season finale, but his time here was already over.

THIS. Is why Boller was the worst pick in franchise history.

There is no argument that can be made for Kindle or Cody. Boller forced us to trade back into the 1st round, and screwed us in 2004 draft. The Kindle pick is exasperated, we got extra players because of that trade.

this is a thin list cuz Oz has been so good, and even busts like Boller, and Travis Taylor had their big play moments, but got to go with Boller

Dan Cody and most likely Kindle due to his fall
I never assume. Most people use /sarcasm or lol. With all the Flacco hate it's hard to tell.

You could make a case for Demetrius Williams. A 4th round pick that did nothing. Dwann Edwards was a 2nd rounder that never really produced to that level. Travares Gooden, anther mid rounder that was a bust. Davon Drew was another one, although late rounder.
None of those guys are the worst ever, but worth a mention.

I was at the game that this happened. Have to agree, I think this stunted a promising career.

Boller... CLOSE THREAD.. Didn't we trade up to get him as well? Look at the the other picks in that round and see what else could have been added to this team. Mark Clayton wasnt a good pick as well but so much went into Kyle. EWWWW, Boller flashback, though he did ball against the Pats in the 5-11 season.

To add to this, Brandon Marshall was still available and the next wr taken.

Here's the worst thing about that Boller draft too. There were only 2 good QBs in the entire thing - Carson Palmer (when he could still throw, obviously) and Tony Romo. It was one of the poorer draft classes for quarterbacks in the decade, IMO, and considering the 2007 draft class (which is number 1 by far), that's saying something.
