My office Redskin fan is sad about that, but happy to have signed Cundiff.

The Eagles tried trading Mike Kafka but nobody wanted him so they cut him lol. Nobody is going to want a Eagles QB after they saw how horrible Kolb turned out to be lol.

Patriots acquire second year Receiver Greg Salsa from the Rams for a conditional 2015 pick.

Also the Seahawks despite trading a 7th for him have released Kellen Winslow.

Thats not really a surprise as he was a reach and was picked for his speed. The new regime wasn't very impressed.

Gave up on him after a year? Wow. Maybe they are hoping by doing this that it will get them in the running for Star Lotulelei in next year's draft.

Especially after he started most of the year and they are signing an old vet who was just cut and I had as my 3rd string DE (3-4) in our mock.

Steelers to sign Demarcus Van Dyke. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/09/06/steelers-will-sign-demarcus-van-dyke/

Some of you may remember him out Miami, drafted by the Raiders in 3rd round in 2011. He has good size and ridiculous speed (4.2 40). Part of me thinks the Steelers are noticing all the speed the Ravens have at WR and realized their CB corps wont cut it. Maybe a desperation move? On the other hand it's probably a smart pick-up considering he actually played decently for the Raiders last season in limited snaps. High upside guy and there is little to no risk in the signing.

Report: Patriots and RG Brian Waters are at a contract impasse. The Patriots want him to take a $500,000 salary cut which would cut his salary down to the veteran minimum. Waters has balked at a pay cut, and the Pats aren't sure if he is fully committed. Waters would also like to play closer to his family who lives in Texas.

Swing tackle Austin Howard, remember him? he was a camp body for a few months last year and I said he had starter potential, well long story short the Jets landed him off waivers and started him in game one after trading Wayne Hunter out of town. He repaid their faith by erasing Mario Williams from the game.

Williams did say Howard held/hands to the face on every play though.
