Can someone explain why the Panthers have invested so much in RB when that isn't a position worth spending that much money on anymore and they don't run that much more than any other team?

Seriously though, it's disturbing to watch someone gets fired live on television; it's ok for a movie but not on real TV show. This pretty much dumps gasoline onto fire....I feel bad for Chad: jobs, money, and family all gone.....
