Antonio Bryant is a Seahawk. I still can't believe how much he ripped off Cincy off for
I was wondering what ever happened to him. I know I was scared when Cincy had him,Chad Johnson and T.O. all at one time.

Yeah that could have been disastrous for us but his knee wasn't up to snuff and he walked away with millions never even playing a game for them

Per Jay Glazer, the Rams and DE Chris Long have agreed on a new 4 year contract. Long was entering a contract year and is now signed through 2016. Details have not been released yet.
[background=rgb(245, 245, 245)]Rams have agreed to terms in a huge 4 year extension w DE Chris Long.[/background]
This is a smart move by the Rams, and it Long is the only pick to pan out for the Rams prior to the Jeff Fisher/Les Snead era.

All that's been revealed so far is that he's earning $10.31 million this season.

Thanks, even though his sack total has been rising every year, I think they probably over paid him.

Agreed. For what he's going to be earning, he's going to have to significantly improve his run D as well.

The Panthers have done even more trading, this time with the Jets. The Panthers traded RT Jeff Otah to the Jets for a conditional draft choice.

http://rotoworld.com...h-to-gang-green

Panthers wheeling and dealing here before Camp.
Never mind, this trade has been made void due to Otah failing a Physical with the Jets and he is now a Carolina Panther once again.

http://profootballta...-with-the-jets/

Also Seahawks have signed WR Braylon Edwards.

Seahawks are going to be nice this year. I think Flynn will win the job. His ceiling is matt hasselback, his floor is Kevin kolb IMO. They got a bunch of different weapons on offense now, watch out for them.

Yeah, I would say his ceiling is more Matt Schaub, I just have a good feeling about Flynn being a great starting QB in the NFL. The only issue will be is can they compete with the 49ers, I mean while I think Flynn will prove to be a better QB than Alex Smith, I do believe it will be tough to try to do anything against that stingy 49ers defense who is returning all 11 starters.

After trying to trade Jeff Otah to the Jets, the Panthers have cut Otah after a failed physical voided the trade.

Found it. Walter Football posted a Grade for the re-signing and he had the contract value.

It's a 5 Year Deal worth $60.3 Million with $36.76 Million Guaranteed.

Colts & Eagles again trade. I think this is the second or third trade made that involved the Eagles and Colts. The Colts have acquired LB Moise Fokou and LB Greg Lloyd from the Eagles in exchange for CB Kevin Thomas and a conditional 7th round pick.

Former Raiders and Seahawks Guard Robert Gallery has retired from the NFL after signing a one year deal with the Patriots. G/T Vernon Carey has also retired and accepted a co-offensive line job in College. WR Devin Thomas who was the 34th Overall Pick in 2008 has also retired.

I wonder where Benson will go? I can't believe he's still unsigned. You would think some team by now would give him or Ryan Grant a small one year deal.

Well it is better to retire than to just sit around wait for that phone call from a team.

This surprises me. I heard about a month ago the Raiders were looking to sign Benson but that hasn't even come to fruition yet. I understand the Vikings probably trust Toby Gerhart to replace AP until he is ready but I would have thought the Vikings would have signed Grant or Benson instead of starting Gerhart.

I guess. I'm shocked Gallery didn't pan out. Coming out of college everyone thought he would have a career similar to Willie Roaf (as of yesterday a HOF).

There's not going to be a big market for two RBs that turn 30 this year and weren't special runners even in their prime.

I think either one would be a good fit in Oakland. Titans,Colts,Browns,Cardinals,Jets,Eagles,Lions,Chargers and Jaguars all could use them as servicable backups.

Teams either prefer young talent or pass protection specialists as their backups.

Agreed. He averaged 3.8 yds/carry for his career... a 30 year old plowhorse.

I'd take Benson over Pierce or Allen. So it's not crazy that another team would be interested in bringing him as a back up.

I wouldn't but I see what your saying, cedric benson could be a nice back up or a solid committee back. I can see him getting signed for a team this year but it might take an injury for that to happen

Well in the midst of a boring Pre-Season game, we finally get something interesting!

Terrell Owen is en route to Seattle for a tryout with the Seattle Seahawks!
