maybe he just doesnt want to be on the colts who are likely to be a bottom feeder for the best part of the 5 yr deal he turned down. I wouldnt be surprised if he accepted a very similar deal on a contender.. now if he signs for another bottom feeder that idea is moot, but until i know who he signs for, its a huge possibilty he just doesnt want to be part of the re building process
That's certainly possible. Good point.

[s]O.J. Atogwe gets released[/s]. Another great FA signing by the Redskins bites the dust.

Yes, I'm pretty sure by now someone made a thread about how we should bring him back lol. That is actually something I wouldn't be against as long as he is cheap and he can play LG in case we lose Grubbs.

Bring back the Brown! Rams had more issues than just Brown. They just don't want to foot the bill anymore. He can come back to us at a discount. Play for a contender.

He's not damaged goods in my book. He left for 'more money'. Now 'more money' left him.

I'd take Brown back in a heartbeat. You don't find many Centre's that are 330 pounds and athletic to boot.

PuRock? who is that? sounds familiar though...

Haven't posted in a while. I've replaced posting with studying for the CPA exam, giving more attention to my wife and starting the hobby of reading 'actual' books again.

Plus, I was so turned off football after the Ravens lost, my interest is just starting to come back around now.

James Hall isn't that bad. Just too old @ 35 for a pass rusher.

Raiders release TE Kevin Boss and the Arizona Cardinals have released OT Levi Brown. Man, to think what the Cardinals could have had if they drafted Adrian Peterson over Levi Brown.

Texans release RT Eric Winston. Per Winston's Twitter:
Unfortunately I have bad news. The Texans have decided to release me today. Although it is a surprise, I have nothing but positive memories
Seems like Houston is making one final push at keeping Mario Williams, the release of RT Eric Winston clears $5.5 Million in Cap Space. I just don't know if Houston should break the bank for Mario, I mean if they break the bank on Mario, what key player will they not be able to sign in the future because of his contract.

Everyone thought that when the Cardinals released him. Carroll has no love for the players used to employ.

Take one team out of the Luke Kuechly sweepstakes. The Eagles are expected to sign Panthers LB Dan Conner in Free Agency, and that it's a 'done deal'.

The Saints have offered G Carl Nicks a contract and what Nicks calls a "respectable" contract. I doubt they will re-sign Nicks but man that would be a great coup for the Saints if they can keep Colston, Nicks and Brees.

Dang that's a good move for the Eagles. They desperately needed a LB and to get a leader type guy with Conner will help immensely. Dan Connor will be rocking the tackles next year with the Eagles wide DL.

I guess the Patriots enjoyed Wes Welker so much they want to find a younger replacement. Amendola is like the poor man's Welker. Can't imaging having two of those guys running around. Patriots quick offense will shine even more.

Its nice to see the Bears go after a quality WR for once. Though I am still in doubt about V-Jax's production outside the SD system.
