Carson Palmer restructures his contract in Oakland. Palmer's restructuring could create at least 7.71 million in cap space. Also Richard Seymour and Michael Huff also restructured their contracts as well.

Report: Colts are open to trading DE Dwight Freeney. Freeney doesn't want to convert to a 3-4 OLB and the Colts most likely want to get rid of him due to the large cap number he carries. Should be interesting what 4-3 teams go after Freeney, especially if they need a pass rusher, I would give up some picks for him. Guess this signals that they really are rebuilding.

Raiders release CB Chris Johnson

http://profootballta...ve-3-5-million/

So do the Raiders have anyone in their secondary now? If Peyton Manning goes to Denver or KC, Manning is going to break passing records against their secondary.

I think its safe to say that the colts will most likely pick first again next year.
I don't know about first but I think somewhere around the Top 5 would be a good estimate. Texans and Titans just got 2 easy wins.

I disagree. They may not have picks, but they could still win division or wild card I feel.

Colts are just.........ewww.
New Rams.

It's starting to seem like a struggle in San Fran to get Alex Smith signed to a new contract. The 49ers don't want to give Smith an offer of "$20 Million guaranteed" as they would like to keep the door open for Colin Kapernick to take over as the starting Quarterback. Also they are "balking" at giving him an offer similar to what the Bills gave to Fitzpatrick as they don't think it was Fitzpatrick's true value.

With steve hutchinson cut what are everyones thoughts as him as a potential short term replacement for Grubbs - I think it seems like a typical Ravens option of filling a void with a veteran who may not command as huge of a contract ex, Birk replacing Jason Brown

I'd be shocked if he lands a contract in that neighborhood on the open market.

maybe he just doesnt want to be on the colts who are likely to be a bottom feeder for the best part of the 5 yr deal he turned down. I wouldnt be surprised if he accepted a very similar deal on a contender.. now if he signs for another bottom feeder that idea is moot, but until i know who he signs for, its a huge possibilty he just doesnt want to be part of the re building process
