Anyone see a trend? A free agent visits then they sign elsewhere. I guess we should stop announcing their visits and surprise fans with an actual free agent signing.

No matter how they do it, we have the best in the business in Ozzie and his team!

Ginn is still out there ;)

If he ends up here and you want to consider ceasing a Ravens-fan, just think of how you would feel being a Jets-fan...

You'll see having Jacobs is not that big of a catastrophe

HAHAHA..we'll see. I do know that I's be highly annoyed! I can just see him getting the hand off, dancing east-west and getting tackled for a 6 yard loss. For a man that's 6'4 270, he is soft! I'm just saying

Green-Ellis has signed with the Bengals.

I guess even a good Green-Ellis is still better for us to have as an opponent than a good Benson was...

Why, at least we could send a player to Dancing With The Stars, too... ;)

of course i've seen that trend developing! that is why i am no longer excited about "who's" coming to "visit." because at this point...a visit doens't mean jack! smh! let's see who ACTUALLY signs with the Ravens before we make annoncements. smh!

Actually I kind of like the lack of free agents. We have a lot of young players on both sides of the ball that need more PT, and not having highly paid vets in front of them should help with that.

Hmm... I wonder who negged my comment about me "predicting" we'd win the Super Bowl... But hey, if you don't like the idea... your problem ;)

are we going to make any moves or just let everyone go elsewhere and then hope there are "gem" unsigned rookies?
... or the unsigned UFA's in August. That's where we usually find them.

Any possibility the Ravens are saving up their money to try and give up a first round pick and sign Mike Wallace? Hopefully along with signing Ladarius Webb long term

Panther's org is putting it out there that he is signed as a fullback (http://espn.go.com/b...ert-at-fullback) and that neither RB is on the trade block. But I agree, someone like Stewart could be a good complement.
oh I never thought about it like that I completely forgot that Tolbert also plays FB but yes they both would be vey good additions

Not a chance.

Please, note: right now we have virtually NO free cap space - only a couple of million. There's NOTHING we could save up, even if someone in the FO had the hard-to-explain idea of pursuing Wallace.

BTW, anyone knows if the rookie salaries - the money our 2012 draft picks will get - count towards the cap space? Because right now we may only have roughly enough money for them, if they do...

Are we going to get anybody..? I know we have little cap-space, but we have holes to fill.
Little cap space and the lack of activity have a direct correlation. If we have hardly any money to offer, we probably won't sign too many UFA'S - and surely not this early when the prices are still high, because - well, we have so little money...

Haha. Everyone calm down, we'll have a squad when it's all said and done. I would be worried if we were in the saint's situation or if everyone else in the division were making acknowledgeable signings, but we are division champs, we swept the division and have the draft ahead. Cheer up, it's not August.

Ah I see. I have faith in Ozzie and all, but I'm not liking how free agency is starting out for us.. Hopefully we pick out some good people in the draft, and maybe we can find a diamond in the rough in free agency..?

Did anyone watch RG3 at Baylor's pro-day. Boy this kid is fluid. this kid looks as athletic as any QB i've ever seen, and his 40 times have been better than WR's at combines. MARYLAND: you'll have competition now with the Skins.

Is it me or has anyone else noticed that with all of these FA visits, no one seems to want to sign with the Ravens? What's up with that? I mean anytime Anderson would rather sign with the lowly Bills over us? There is something going on here that we are not being told about. We didn't sign Grubbs with the 32.5 mil we offered so we are not broke. Tight maybe but not broke.

Mark Anderson's deal: 4 year, $27.5 million contract, with $8 million guaranteed.

Wow ... that's nearly $7 M per - even if backloaded, we never could have gone there. Again, no surprise at all that he's somewhere else.

Our Front office is now paying for it. Sometimes It's not always good to wait for Bargins in FA! This is probably our worst beginning of a off season we've had in recent years. ''Ozzie We Trust'' though, right fans? (Sarcasm)

Mohamed Sanu WR for Rutgers ran a 4.41 and a 4.44 at the RU pro day. I'm telling you i've seen every Rutgers game he has ever played and he is a can't miss and a lovable kid. if you knew him you would understand why i feel so strongly. powerfull kid who played as wildcat QB for a season. can run with the ball and block in the running game. tremendously hard working family kid. remind you of anyone from Rutgers?

Are the Ravens becoming the Orioles of the NFL??
No ... the Orioles had Confederate money. The Ravens have no money.

Look - I'd love for us to be able to more freely fill needs and retain players than what we're currently able to do, but I simply don't understand why everyone is behaving as if the reason for our inability to bring in players is due to our being some sort of diseased organization. We are either being totally out-bid or in the case of Mathis, we couldn't lure a guy away from where he's probably rather happy and being paid well too.
