BIO, you are right...I forgot that quickly...!!!!
Sometimes it genuinely seems like the Jets are deliberately aiming to become the clown-franchise of the NFL... :)

DAn Connor has already been signed. I like Grant (49ers) or Rudd...Rudd is more blue collar and just a solid addition. I think Grant can be the same but has the potential to blossm into more!

You know it might not have been the money, the guy could have said he wanted to start and we turned around and said well you gotta earn it, which frankly Anderson hasn't done in his career in my opinion. Plays the pass well but not so sure on the run.
Well, it COULD be that way, too. We don't know.

Like I said earlier... didnt feel like Anderson was a must... Krueger and Mcphee are ready! If Kindle or McAdoo can add anything we could be better then last year!

And again I state FA means absolutely NOTHING! Only ONE player has contributed to this team after getting them in the FA which was LEACH, other than that quite a few have been let downs.
Whoa thats a lil bit of a stretch dude.
Shannon Sharpe? Rod Woodson? Steve Mcnair? Deion Sanders? Derrick Mason?

I think you are right. Unfortunately I think it's the result of the head coach and "leadership" (well, lack-therof). In my opinion, they have lost all their credibility and this is way before Tebow. It seems like every season Ryan has been in "control" there has been some issue. How can one team have this many issues?? And it does not help that they are part of the NYC media hype machine media....Hey Better the Jets than the Ravens, though!

like a couple people said Ruud wouldn't be a bad sign he could probably fit in real nice but I still believe they should go after Jim Leonard he can play a ST role similar to the one Haruki had, be a back up safety, and return punts

Really...we dont have a lot of needs... We need depth at LB, depth on the OL, Depth at S and depth at RB

THere is still a lot of talent out there at every position
OL Stienbach G
Dan Koppen C
LB
Grant
Barrett Rudd

S
Bob Sanders
Q. Demps

RB..
Brandon Jacobs
Mike Tolbert
there are even solid WRs still left (not sure about the #1's) but we dont need a #1...

Plus our lack of significant need may alow us to pull off a draft trade... I have faith in our FO

@steelcity-I was rolling with you until you put Talent and Brandon Jacobs together in the same post...I will rethink being a Raven fan, if Jacobs ends up in B-More!

@RavenAllDay, I was thinking the same thing about Grubbs. Signed that big deal with New Orleans and now they are getting all this punishment.
I dunno, it might not be THAT terrible after all - Bunkley has just signed with the Saints, and I think it was after the punishments were announced...

Mike Tolbert signed with the Panthers so that likely means that either DeAngelo Williams or Jonathan Stewart will get released and both of those guys would be good fits

I think Goose and Qadry were UFA-acquisitions, too (though I'm not sure).

And, of course, there's Pollard...

If he ends up here and you want to consider ceasing a Ravens-fan, just think of how you would feel being a Jets-fan... ;)

You'll see having Jacobs is not that big of a catastrophe :D

Panther's org is putting it out there that he is signed as a fullback (http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/55683/panthers-mike-tolbert-at-fullback) and that neither RB is on the trade block. But I agree, someone like Stewart could be a good complement.

I just read the article on NFL.com. Now being the natural cynic that I am, I am going to point out that the article points out that "word" of the deal was announced after the penalties were doled out. But whatevs, I am being particular. And you are right, it may not be bad at all. The Saints could end up having a great year. But you add this debacle to the fact that Brees still hasn't negotiated an extension nor signed off on his franchise tag, there could be trouble in Who Dey nation. And Grubbs might be asking himself was a few million worth this? The answer will probably be Yes

Anyone see a trend? A free agent visits then they sign elsewhere. I guess we should stop announcing their visits and surprise fans with an actual free agent signing.

No matter how they do it, we have the best in the business in Ozzie and his team!

can we afford Steinbach? He was cut from Cleveland because he refused to take a pay cut. He was due to make 6 million.
