Mario Williams!!!! Im officially lobbying for him to come to Baltimore. Let Redding and Jarret go and have Mario, Kruger, Kindle, and McPhee fill the DE and OLB positions. Let McClain go get his payday and draft his replacement in this years draft hopefully Hightower in the 1st. Our defense would be younger and set for years to come. I love Redding and Jarret, but how long does everyone really think theyre going to last? Mario is a probowl caliber defensive player and would give us that much needed passrush opposite of Suggs for years to come. The Colts just let go of Peyton and are going into a youth movement and I say we do the same and start building our D for when Ray and Ed decide to retire. Face it we need to stop the immediate gratification and look towards the future.

Ray, Ed, Redding, Jarret.... They are all getting up in years. If we let McClain go and get his replacement in the draft that saves $ as well. When Ray and Ed retire whats left? Only 2 defensive probowlers which are Ngata and Suggs. I never said our complete defense was old I just said we would get younger by allowing some of our younger players like Mcphee and Kruger to get playing time. Im being logically and thinking about the future. We need a passrusher opposite of Suggs and a player of Mario Williams caliber does not become available every year. We dont have to offer him $100 million I think he would agree to something realistic to join our team.

tandon doss give him a shot as well as williams for number 3 spot. possibly pick wr in later rounds of draft but address inside and outside linebackers as well as safety and o-line. running back could always get that older experienced guy for number 2 or see wat anthony allen has in his juice tank.stack are lines deep for fresh feet threw out the game. ozzies gonna do whats best for the team in the long run hes a magician when it comes to this stuff were just hopefulls hes a genius

I'd be nice but gotta disagree, can't see Mario giving the ravens a huge discount

I know this Hensley is joking about bringing in Portis, so I won't acknowledge that. Don't mind LT. Johnson to Jets would make me sick..and angry. Would love Williams, but Buffalo is going to offer him CRAZY money, so never mind that. Hope Grubbs stays...and Ruki!

I would try to get Freeney sins the Colts want to trade him. If his contract is reasonable, and we dont have to give up much for him ... why not.

Why Redding would not want to stay in Baltimore is baffling why would you go a team that is rebuilding instead of playing with a team that is one step away from a super bowl.

IN OZ WE TRUST
Honestly, it's like he's magic.
As much as I would like to pick up every awesome free agent and everything, I realize it's not feasible. What I like about the Ravens organization is that Oz and the gang take care of their own. However, if their own want to leave, that's their choice. And, unfortunately, it seems like Grubbs wants to leave.

I'd say let's try and see if we can keep the guys that want to come back (that makes sense to come back, as well, and not for too expensive)

But when it all comes down to it again, in OZ we Trust

Why would Grubbs go to the Saints? They're in a mess with the bounty thing and Brees not getting a contract. And they don't have much cap space so I don't think they'll give him a whole lot more than what we offered him. But if he wants to leave then let him, Ozzie is known to draft great O-linemen all the time.

this is the part of the off-season that i don't like! there is the potential that some of our good Ravens players will be pulled away by other teams. i understand the business process of it all....but...i don't like! lol!

IMO I don't see how the Saints can offer Grubbs a better deal than the Ravens, Brees is due a monster contract and they just signed Colston plus they're going to get fined due to the bounty gate (draft picks or cap space?) doesn't make much sense to me.

WE NEEDED ROYAL .. NOW I FEEL GINN IS OUR LAST OPTION... ALSO WE NEED TO RE-SIGN J.MCCLAIN (ILB) AND RE-SIGN L.MCCLAIN (RB/FB)AND DRAFT KONZ RD.1 AND BURFICT RD.2 THEN WE WILL BE IN GOOD SHAPE!

Saints have little money. 5M and that's if Brees somehow plays under the franchise tag. Plus they have no 1st rounder, could lose more picks or face salary restrictions because of bountygate
