Homicide: Life on the street

Follows a homicide department, their lieutenant and the team

Superb, I love these type of shows

It's quite old and it's gritty, but gritty in a good way

Set in Baltimore, I'm sure the locals would recognize a lot of the areas

Detective Pembleton is the star of the show for me, superb acting. Damn, watching him grill suspects I was ready to confess!

I wonder how realistic it is, you do see issues like police top brass consumed by statistics and reports
Or how work is assigned, nobody cares about a poor local but if a tourist gets killed then management and the media go crazy and everyone is put on overtime
They covered this in an episode with Robin Williams, his wife was killed

Anyway, it's tough, hard hitting and gritty, I like it a lot

I'll admit, I have been watching "Dallas" during the new series run.

In regard to "Homicide: Life On The Street", I should look that up on DVD, and hopefully obtain it for myself, for I miss that program.

Hardknocks was really good tonight.

It showed Chad meating with Joe Philbin after he got released from jail, and when they decided to release him. Chad looked real sincere when apoligizing. I never saw anything like that before besides in moneyball lol.

Bout to watch Spartacus Blood and Sand. Think I'll watch the episode titled "The Thing in the Pit" since for some reason we're the under dogs in today's game. But like in Spartacus, we'll overcome the odds and shock the world. Only difference is we'll do it for Art Modell.

Watching Ravens vs Steelers week 1, 2011. Nfl Rewind is actually pretty good.

I somehow forgot this, but the Steelers had 7 turnovers. SEVEN. Thats how many points they scored that game! Watching that makes me miss Suggs and Redding all so much more though.

Yeah I was hoping it wouldn't have happened to any of them. That's what makes the show so good.

My Wednesdays are back! Survivor followed by Modern Family! :) I am gifted with a 4-year-old who goes to bed by 8:30 every night, and my 10-month-old doesn't know what's going on during both of the programs. I have always been a Survivor addict. My husband said I should try out for the show. I don't want to participate in it at all, but I really enjoy watching it. :)
