[Blogs] Massive LT Adams To Interview With Ravens

37 posts in this topic

As always, we will draft the best player. Every position is one injury away from being an area of need and if we have two great tackles for a year, great. We know that whatever position is filled, it will be a good player that may start as a rookie. Grubbs, Birk, and Gurode will dictate our first round pick.

Adams will not be available at the 29th pick! IF he is...he would be hard to pass up... Athletic big men are hard to come by and the chance of landing an Ogden type who could anchor your line for years to come -should not be over looked!

Deff. agree with Steelcity, Im not thinking he will be there at the 29th spot but if so gotta take him, I like Peter Konz or Cordy Glenn even if birks staying we could then have time to train them up. Sleeper Rishaw Johnson.

You never know. While I haven't updated my mock listings since the beginning of the month, the average slot where Adams was being projected was actually farther back in the 1st round than Konz or Glenn. I don't know if he's rising of late, but as I've said so many times ... these off the field transgressions - as long as they are not chronic and are minor infractions - can be our best friend. They allow top 10 talent to fall to us and we have an organization that is largely good at evaluating managing these types of issues.

It was probably just some mary-jane and he thought, "When is this stop sign gonna turn green!?" Off-field issues, meh. Guy handled himself well in that interview.
