Oh I agree completely. He's a good QB, but he's 28. I just don't understand why people feel a team like the Ravens would use their 3rd rounder to take a guy that would most likely never see the field unless Flacco got injured.

Why the heck would we take Weeden in the 3rd? We need a tackle, center, possibly a guard, a pass rusher, receiver, are looking for safety help, and could use some other things like a return man and a kicker. All of those I'd say were bigger priorities over a quarterback who will not see the field unless Flacco goes down with an injury, and if that happens I'd say we're done as a Superbowl contender anyway. Some of these mock draft guys probably flip a coin or something, they're all pretty poor at projecting stuff anyway.

Yep, a third rounder is valuable, sure one got us Webb not long ago. A third is too much for this franchise to spend on a backup QB in this draft
