We will see...

I am pretty confident in our run game right now... and its no slight against your terriffic run defense.

Our OL has a bunch of maulers on it, especially when we put Vernon Carey and Jake Long on the same side in the unbalanced line formation

TE - LG - C - RG - RT - LT

Then, we pull Smiley, the LG, right between the 2 or outside them to seal the edge...

TE - LG - C - RG - RT - LT

_____\________/__/

Its a LOT of beef! :D

I want to see how it matches up against your D. Your D will be the ultimate test for it...

Anyone want to do a friendly bet about our run offense vs. your run defense? B)

I really don't understand how you could be confident the Phins will run on the Ravens?

You have the 11th ranked Rushing attack vs an average of the 15th ranked defense! The Jets held you to 49, the Cards to 72, and the 24th ranked Texans to 96! Against those 3 teams you average 5 Rushing first downs a game! If you could have run the ball against the Texans, you would have Won!

I would be shocked if the Phins get over 50 yards rushing for the game! That is the main reason I think the Ravens will win, if you can't exploit our secondary - you lose!! I expect our Running game, however, to Dominate. This will be the difference in the game!

I've admitted... its more of homeristic gut feeling...

Hence why I said "friendly bet" and nothing serious, lol

Plus, our OL has been dominant at times in the run game. They mauled Seymour, Wilfork, and Warren... and did the same against Jamal Williams, Lewis Castilo too.

In the run game... I'm less worried about your DL, and more worried about your LBs...

1 thing Ronnie Brown should do. When he runs. He should make sure he stays away from any LB from the Ravens. Oh yea. Never run up the middle.

You may want to worry about the DL, too! Ngata is a beast and should make the ProBowl this year, Trevor Pryce is still playing strong, and Justin Bannan has cranked it up a notch filling in for Gregg!

Im just saying he should be careful. If I was him Id literally just run out. RBs for opposing teams had to switch out quite a lot during any game against us. Unless they are a passing offense.

They are great too. I love Ngata... and wanted him to fall to the Fins that year. Saban was obsessed with him...

I'm just saying that I'm not worried about them b/c I've seen our OL handle top notch DLs just like yours. But we have to get to the second level and get our hands on your LBs...

We need to get your defense off balance, hopefully with the Wildcat. Once we've got you guessing, we got you with that thing... lol. And more importantly than the big play out of the Wildcat... once your D is off balance, it really lets Chad go to work with a high completion %. But if you come out and shut it down... we are gunna need to start hitting some big plays in the passing game to open things back up...

If your offense somehow manages to get the defense to stop doing what they do best(which is blitzing effectively). Then the game will be all yours. Kinda like the Colts game. Manning just threw the defense into coverage and when he had time he knew he could help someone get open with pump fakes. Also because he just has 3 WRs up the A**. I wish our team had 3 good WRs like em.

lol come on.

Ngata and Pryce are studs. No doubt. But Seymour, Wilfork, and Warren are not tools. Thats one of the best DLines in football, with you guys in there as well. Same with Jamal and Castilo... those 2 are beasts as well.

Your guys are great. But that doesnt mean that there arent others that are great too. You arent the only great DLine in the league...

I agree that there are other great D lines in the league. But how many of them are followed by some of the best linebackers in the league? The patriots last year were aging at linebacker pretty fast. And this year they are a few cents short of being average. That is what makes us the best at stopping the run. Sure if your OL can fend off our talented Dline , then what? Ray Lewis, Bart Scott need picking up too.

It's a mixture of our great DL and linebackers that make it hard to run against us.

Very true...Ngata creates holes for Lewis to go to, and Pryce is back to his true midseason form. Bannan is holding well for himself right now, too... i mean he was essentially a starter.

Compliment that with the likes of Ray Lewis, Bart Scott, the multi-talented Suggs and a new and improved Jarrett Johnson, you have one hell of a front 7.

Which is exactly why I said I am worried about your LBs. Are you reading my posts? lol ;)

Our OL really needs to be able to get into the 2nd level and get a hand on the LBs. Its going to be the biggest test our OL has faced...
