5 Star Recruit Stefon Diggs Commits To Maryland

Not sure if any you guys follow Maryland football(especially after last season), but for those who do I just wanted to let you guys know Maryland just got local Stefon diggs who is ranked 2nd in the entire country at WR. Hopefully he can help turn this program around, afterall Maryland has produced great WRs.

That's pretty big news! I never expected him to choose MD over the Gators, Buckeyes or Tigers - pleasantly surprised. Apparently, Locksley had a lot to do with this. Let's see who he has throwing the ball to him now...

Very nice. Hopefully he can help improve the team from last season. I was embarrassed to call myself a Terp. And I'm already used to the basketball team being horrid.

Yeah this is big new for the Terps. Hopefully it gives Danny O'Brien incentive to stick around now if he had any plans to leave. O'Brien to Diggs all day long.

In the next two years I think the basketball team will be a consistent top 10 team. If O'Brien sticks around, and Diggs lives up to expectations, the football team could follow suit.

LOL at all the Ohio State fans who think that he would be the next percy harvin. I don't know about you guys , but I would rather be the next Torrey smith or even the next DHB than be the next percy harvin. Their both better than him in my opinion.

Well this goes to show that not all recruits want to join a winning team, they rather help make a winning team. This is so good for Maryland, hopefully he can help revive Maryland's football program. Hopefully O'Brien sticks around, what do you think the chances are that Maryland could snag a Top QB in the near future? It would be nice to one day hear Roger Goodell say, With the 1st Pick of the 20__ Draft the (Insert team here) selects (Insert name here), Quarterback, Maryland.

I'm a Terrapin and not even I think this is a possibility. I have more faith in the football team than I do the basketball team.

Ehh idk which way to lean on this one..
My heart says basketball but our bball team has looked god awful even when we were keeping it close against duke yesterday... I can't even tell you how many bad shots there were in that game taken by every guard on our roster not just stoglin..
Maryland basketball has a long way to go, but so does football lol... Soccer anyone? Lacrosse?

Damn, that sucks. O'Brien and Diggs would have made a good combination and probably would have helped Maryland win a bunch of games this season. All well time for Maryland to use my plan and just recruit one of the top QBs. Who is left at QB for Maryland now?

They will most likely not get a new QB this year, so it will be Brown at QB. But it should be a interesting for a QB to come to Maryland next year, thanks to Diggs.

CJ Brown I suppose? I was hoping O'Brien stayed but in reality, I knew the possibilities for this to happen were minimal.
