I have to read "The book thief" for school.
Seems pretty good so far. Its narrated by "death" which is different.

Her av scares me. She looks like she's choking the cameraman out. No way I'm fighting her.

Oh I am about 2/3 of the way through Alan Nolan's 'The Iron Brigade: A Military History'.

Sadly the packing and the rather intense stress it brought forth have put the kibosh on finishing it for a while. I did however stop in the middle of their fight on the first day of Gettysburg. :)

With the "recent" release of Chuck Palahniuk's Damned, I've been RE-reading all of his earlier titles; Fight Club, Survivor, Invisible Monsters, Choke, Lullaby, Diary, Haunted, Rant, Snuff, Pygmy and Tell-All. If you've never read any of his work (and you have a dark-sense of humor), I suggest giving him a chance.

I recently finished up Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, one of the best books I've ever read! Now I'm on The Underdogs, by Mike Lupica. Too bad the kids are Squeelers fans. Other than that, it's OK.

Unfortunately, I'm stuck reading a book by a French philosopher on the topic of gender and sexuality for my "Gender and Sexuality in Arab Literature and Film" class. I think I might buy "Warrior Soul" by Chuck Pfarrer. I already read that, but I gave my old copy to my Unconventional Warfare: War in the American Experience professor as a gift years ago. And I may also by the book by Pfarrer on Operation Geronimo as well.

Hush your mouth! I remember watching the movie, and liking the book more. That's usually the case, though: whichever one you are exposed to first, you like more.

Livy's chronicles of Roman History, particularly "The War with Hannibal". I'm writing a research paper on the composition, organization, tactics and history of the Roman Legions.

So technically I'll be reading : Livy's Histories, Caesar's Commentaries, Adrian GoldsworthyIn the Name of Rome, Adrian Goldsworthy Roman Warfare. As well as documents containing Tacitus recounting of the Jerusalem seige and Judean War.

Arabic Studies. Lets just say I was held at gunpoint by a fellow classmate and forced to take all of the same classes as her lol. It wouldn't be so bad if the people could hold their answers to under 10 minutes.

That class subject seems so random. Put all those words together and you have a.class about fictitious middle eastern crossdressers.

But if its for a.cute girl, then it all makes.sense.
