And if you aren't currently reading anything in particular, what sorts of stuff do you like to read (if you enjoy reading in the first place)?

I'm currently reading for the second time "A Brotherhood of Valor: The Common Soldiers of the Stonewall Brigade, C.S.A., and the Iron Brigade, U.S.A.' by Jeffry D. Wert. They are my two favorite Civil War brigades and I can not begin to say how well researched and written this book is.

Next two reads will be Alan Nolan's 1961 brigade history of the Iron Brigade "The Iron Brigade: A Military History" (which I've read countless times borrowing my Dad's copy) and "A Full Blown Yankee of the Iron Brigade: Service with the Sixth Wisconsin Volunteers" by Rufus Dawes (once they get here from Amazon).

Interesting to know that there is a fellow Civil War enthusiast out there.
I was just up in Gettysburg 2 weeks ago for the 150th anniversary. Very cool stuff. Made it a point to visit the famed "railroad cut" where Dawes took Confederate colors.

Somehow those two are basically all I have on my plate right now. I checked out Euclid's Elements from my library, but I'm not counting that.

I must say I just got my Kindle a short while back and I was hesitant for a long time about switching to a e-reader as I like many love the feel and sense of a page turn and a book but I have really enjoyed it..and my favourite part is that you can find sooo many cheap books. There are a ton of free books and many under 5 dollars
