Here's what TO said:
“I know I can play. That’s not even a question that I can play. You look at the NFC Championship and the AFC Championship. You look at those games, especially the NFC championship. Their starting receiving corps had one catch for three yards,” Owens told The Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “You look at the AFC championship. The Baltimore Ravens the past two years brought in two guys they thought could get the job done. It comes down to crucial catches and they didn’t make those catches. So I am definitely aware of my talents.

Personally, I don't think we need him and I've seen him drop passes. Also, remember when he snubbed us years back when we wanted to sign him? He says he's in great shape and with the rocky road he's been on lately then maybe he won't act like a jack@$$. I just don't trust him.

With Ozzie saying we're looking to add a WR, do you think TO would be an upgrade to our WRs?

We don't need him, but looking back, a vet WR, maybe not TO, but someone else could have helped. Its not good when your 3rd WR is a UDFA rookie. With Evans out, we had no depth at WR. Our top 2 spots were fine, but we couldn't run a 3WR or 4WR set because of a lack of talent at WR.

We just need a sure handed guy, and TO isn't even that. I would love to have a player like Vincent Jackson on this team who could box out smaller defensive backs, and make grabs from anywhere on the field

Dennis Pitta needs to be the starting TE as well. He catches anything and everything

Me too, but he will be getting paid. No way we could afford him

I know. I'm just hypothetically speaking though. I haven't looked at the draft yet, but maybe there will be a similar WR in the later rounds. I believe Vincent Jackson was taken in the third

Maybe, just maybe, we didn't run 3 WR sets because Laquan sucked. When Lee Evans came back we ran them a lot more. You can't blame everything on Cam!!! He used 3WR sets when Evans came back, and he used them last year with Housh. Come on now.

Really V jax? Everybody on this board jocks homie so hard, out of him and T.O. I take T.O., because I know he is coming with his A game and he plays hard. Dont say " what if" I dont deal in what ifs. The past is the past and let it stay there!

I do not think it would hurt to have him in the red zone, and I think he would come cheap. He would still demand coverage maybe some double coverage from time to time for the simple fact i think could still put fear in the defense. But I do not see us adding him. we want young draft talent or a proven free agent. It doesn't matter because Cam will not use a WR they way he should be used and Harbaugh just can't see that. Anquan was a beast in St. Louis, what has he really done here. Nothing compare to his Cardinal days. Until they really design plays for a passing game and use Q in the slot we do not need to spend big money on a WR. I am very happy with the current crew.

Williams, Reed and Doss aren't special talents, but the former two were active the entire time Evans was out. I really don't see how Cam couldn't have at least got them on the field. The most passes LaQuan saw came on the final drive against the Steelers in Week 9 and Reed got a target too(predictability on a nine route). Cam went at least three-wide on every play on that drive. Why couldn't he have done it more?

TO is out of a job and going broke. He has four children from four different women and his money is diminishing. He's in kiss [profanity deleted] mode at the moment, and he burned us a few years ago. He can learn from his mistakes, just not in Baltimore.

I wouldn't take TO even if he was the last receiver on this earth but he does have a point.

I wouldn't mind having TO honestly. I always thought that placed in the right situation, which playing for the Ravens might be, he would be ok. I know he wouldn't be quiet about Cam's stupidity, and I'd certainly like to see someone on the team mention it.

If by any stretch TO were to come here, he would have to overcome the same problems that he mentioned with us. No doubt we lack sure handed guys, but TO isn't sure handed and at 38 and coming off of a torn ACL, how in the world could he be the answer? I'd look elsewhere.

He could've been great the first time that we tried to get him but now? Just pandering.
