finally, i can agree with something cam is talking about. using the tight ends more would be great for quick short passes, linebackers will be forced to make a decision in whether to cover the tight end or wait for rice. before they waited for rice.

This offense is so painfully close to being great, why ruin that by starting all over with another OC?

Sorry because I really do not intend to single you out, just this "idea" that's being bantered about like Cam has only been here one year. The man has had 4 seasons here. Please tell me which of those seasons our offense has even come close to touching on its potential? I'm not buying the whole "starting over will set us back" routine by the FO on this one. Set us back from where? Mediocre? Do you really believe that bringing in a new OC would stop our offense from making 15th in the league?

Pitta should be targeted more he is the better all around TE dickson did have some drop's but i think he will be o.k. We have 2 good TE and they need to be used more. Pitta could become our diamond in the rough. 70 cathes and 800 plus yards are possible if Cam incorperates him more in the game plan.

"We've asked them to do a lot since they've been here. But until it looks like you want it to in practice, you're not going to utilize it in the game."

Second year players should have a full grasp of the entire playbook! It's not like they're working on cold fusion, it's just football. If you can't effectively teach them, get somebody in here who can! Also, too many times, I have seen all the receivers covered and Joe has no choice but to throw the ball away. Why isn't their more movement from the receivers after the routes? They just stand there! SMH!

Frankly at times, it looks like the team we're playing knows our playbook better than our own players! Too much predictability! Cam, I don't know what Bisciotti and Harb's see in you, but they seem to think they know more than the hundreds of thousands of Raven's fans who would have preferred to see you gone. Let's get it together and make 2012 the Year of the RAVEN!!!

Aww, man, ravensdfan,.... awesome post !!!!

Many say "consistency, consistency, consistency would be lost",.... I say that's a cop out!

In 4 years our offense has never been consistent! And each year we here the same old "next year will be a breakout year"!

The Defense has played consistently and we've gone to 4 post seasons - not on the strength of the Offense's consistency!

I hope something clicks and remains consistent throughout the year. That loss to New England was devastating to say the least.

I just read Mike Preston's column of 10 February and he thates "Quietly, Harbaugh proving himself as one of NFL's Best"

That's so wrong on so many levels! NFL insiders know, as they know that Cam is not Head Coach material, that John is the lesser of two Harbaughs. JIm is 'Coach of the Year' after one season - John deelgates!

Read the column,... the Ravens have reached a level above the other teams but not a SB team because John does not fire up the players,... he rides on the Defense!

Don't get irate at me, read Preston's article!

ravensdfan i could not agree more with that. we need to drop cameron and let him be some other team's problem. if we're lucky, he'll go to the steelers

Unfortunately, Cam can only see big.... That's it. Vanilla will always be Vanilla. You have all the power tools you need to build a strong house, but knowing and not knowing how to use them are two different stories.
