Alice Cooper? Blech that guy sucked and was creepy in his prime.....

Listen here punk, Cooper was putting out albums before you were even thought of. Respect your elders!! :D

Seriously though, he puts on an amazing show. I only ever saw him once, but it was a great show.

Haha! True that! I know he puts on an amazing show, but he just scares the crap out of me. And Im not fond of his voice. Have you seen the muppets episode where he was the guest? It was awful. Alice's acting was horrendous.

CursonaPirate, have you listened to the Live version of Tooth and Nail on the album Beast from the East? Its amazing. Even better than the studio recording. Don Dokken has such a great voice.

Nope, never saw that muppets episode. I thought he did a decent job in Wayne's World though.

Yesterday at work the van for Wind FM (the Classic Rock station down here) parked and broadcasted outside. I won a t-shirt.

So I have a song that embodies my taste in music, in terms of pace, vocals, guitar, and overall sound etc. It is Perfect Crime by GNR.

Also, I figured I would list my top five favorite vocalists

1. Steve Perry

2. Vince Neil

3. Don Dokken

4. Dennis Deyoung

5. Axl Rose

At work last night I had a customer wearing an Iron Maiden Final Frontier Tour Shirt. I yelled CursonaPirate at him and he looked at me weird lol.

This thread has a disturbing lack of Judas Priest in it. How are you going to talk about Iron Maiden without mentioning the other main NWOBHM(New Wave of British Heavy Metal) band that they are paired with? I'm beyond dissapointed that they've announced that they are not doing any more world tours sad.png

Really? Well, for a specifically NWOBHM-only thread I guess there has been a lack. Okay... Hellrider is good. I like Judas Rising off that album. Blood Red Skies, Desert Plains, and Jawbreaker are some other good ones from the Priest catalog. All anyone ever mentions from them is British Steel and Painkiller.

Surprising how many good songs bands tend to have that aren't the most popular ones. Probably because people base their attention on which ones the radio plays.

Exactly this.. Most people are too lazy to listen to anything but "hits" from any genre..

Its the same with Pretty much all of my favorite bands. Their hit songs aren't my personal favorites

I did mention Judas Priest earlier. I saw them live last November! They still got it! They played for 2 and a half hour. They played everything. Painkiller and blood red skies was amazing. Also electric eye was good too.
