I love some of the unheard of metal bands...some of these guys deserve more attention:

Overkill

Dream Evil

Exodus

Sodom

Symphony X

Testament

If you haven't heard some of these, check em out.

Been rocking The Dillinger Escape Plan's "One of Us Is the Killer" since it dropped last week and if you want unique "metal" (I think trying to classify them doesn't do them justice, I just stick with the label Heavy Music) look no further. DEP is one of the few bands that has "grown up" with me if you will and have only gotten progressively better and more refined in their musicianship since they finally got a real vocalist in Greg Puciato on their 2004 album "Miss Machine." One of my top 10 bands that are still around and this album doesn't disappoint.

I'm broke but pre-ordered my copy of Amon Amarth's Deceiver of the Gods last night! :D

Tell me if it's as good as With Oden On Our Side, that whole CD is amazazing!

Im going to the famous House of Guitars in a bit to look for a pedal for my Bass. I want a crunchy metal sound (Troy Sanders/Cliff Burton) but with the bass still evident. Like if i was playing in a band i dont want to be cancelled out. I need to be heard.

I just saw them live yesterday up in Bristow, Tony played great and Ozzy sang well.

Yes, I have their Snakes for the Divine album. It's pretty good. Their newest album isn't bad either. But I like Sleep better.

Wish it were the OG lineup.

I saw The Melvin's at Ottobar the other night.

That's probably because you watch them. Youtube ads are based on what you search for.
