The Iron Maiden/ Alice Cooper concert was amazing Monday night. Best night of my life!

Nice, I bet that was a helluva show. Only saw Cooper once, but it was a great concert.

Yeah, Cooper put on one of the best shows I've seen.

Speaking of which, I can't wait til Mayhem Fest this saturday in Pittsburgh. Motorhead! Slayer! Anthrax!

Sweet line up, should be a loud show. lol

I've only seen them once, and it was quite unimpressive. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but they sounded terrible. It was a show in Pittsburgh with 4 other bands (jeez, can't even remember them now lol), and the other bands sounded great. So, it wasn't the sound system. 'Twas very dissapointing.

Why does everyone hate on nickelback? For some reason they're the go-to band for music hate these days. I don't listen to their music, but I'm pretty sure they're not the only band that sucks.

Because all of their songs have the same chord progressions and vocal style

Right here! Coroner is one of my favorites.

I think it's just trendy to pick on Nickelback. Most people who do so probably listen to bands that have the same problem. There are a million bands just as bad or worse.

October is the month for heavy metal. Especially the darker older metal.

Priest, Iron Maiden, King Diamond, Rob Zombie.. etc

Its all about the Black Sabbath

Master of Reality and Vol. 4

My two favorite songs

Big fan of other bands such as Megadeth, Death, Dream theater, Rush, Zeppelin King crimson, Early Metallica, as well as bunch of others. But Sabbath is my favorite Metal band. Their riffs are so simple yet have a lot power.

Couldn't agree more, dude!!! I used to play bass, my 2 biggest influences were Butler and Steve Harris.

Master of Reality and Vol 4 are awesome, but I think my fav is Sabotage.

Huge fan of Rush also, although there isn't many of Geddy Lee's bass lines I could play.

My favorite bass line of all time

I don't believe I've ever heard that before. Definitely an excellent bass line.

This is one of my favorites:
