I find it very unlikely that the Ravens pay bigs bucks for a FA wide reciever. If we get one it's on the cheap. Ozzie likes Boldin so he's not going anywhere. Evans has a big price tag so either he is gone or he restructures for a cheap price. He has alot to prove. Torrey Smith looks great. 1st year WR's don't usually come out of the gates so fast. It usually takes til the second year but Torrey has done well already. I expect him to improve. Laquan Williams and Doss will likely improve but they better for their sakes because Ozzie isn't keeping youth unless they produce. No loyalty to or big investments in those guys.

Prediction: We draft for the best players available. We cut Evans, Reed retires, we resign Rice, extend Flacco, let Grubbs, Johnson and Redding go. In FA we get pro's who can contribute for cheap and don't make a splash. If we do keep a high prices FA it'll be Grubbs.

We aren't going to be making a free agency splash. We need to keep our own and that will cost us.

Damn, your sarcasm detector was broken. Oh well.

I've stated the only person I'd trade picks for was Calvin Johnson, a proven commodity. And this team is well-balanced where we could afford such a risk. The Falcons with no defense could not. Can't compare a championship contender to pretenders like the Falcons, thank you.
Ah, my bad. I've heard crazy suggestions like that. That's why I wasn't surprised.

Yeah, I would trade up for Calvin. I wish we drafted him. We would've won two Super Bowls at least.
Ozzie, please sign Marcus McNeil (LT). It's all I want for off-season. Thanks.

Reed isn't retiring.
Championships are forged in the offseason.

Ozzie knows we need a WR, but he won't break the bank... V-Jax and Colston are probably out of our price range, but would complement Boldin and Smith perfectly.

I'm seeing more of V. Jax moreso than Colston. As Ozzie puts it best, right player right price.

It's all going to come down to who are we going to keep and who are we going to let go and how much cap room we have left.

Then there's the other question, What will Cam do with a FA WR? Boldin, Smith AND a FA?

... lol

I'd rather spend our free agent money on the offensive line than a free agent wide receiver, though. I understand the appeal of getting VJax, but would you rather have VJax or Grubbs, or some other offensive lineman out there? I would take Grubbs & Chris Myers both before VJax. We could probably get them both for the salary VJax wants.

As for Colston, I'm worried he looks good because of Brees. I wonder if he would be as good with another quarterback. Quite frankly, I don't want us to take that risk.

I'd rather draft a receiver this year because it's a really nice pool. Unless Calvin Johnson was a free agent and we had money to throw around. Man, that would be nice.

Vincent Jackson would be a good fit for the Ravens if the price is right of course. Cam loves big receivers and he loves Vincent Jackson going back to his days in San Diego (I was living in San Diego during Cameron's tenure as OC).

Vincent Jackson would help the Ravens a great deal.

Lloyd will probably follow McDaniels to New England.

Didn't he already try to get on an NFL team? No one wanted him then I doubt anyone wants him now. Especially with all the FA WRs.

I would take T.O. with a performance incentive contract, why not? you think he gonna cause trouble when he didnt play last year.

There's one blind T.O. supporter, the Ravens had a chance to sign T.O. in each of the last three years and they passed so why would they sign him now especially with a
good crop of younger WRs being available in free agency and the draft.

I don't want T.O. either, my member name says it all regarding who I want but understand the chances of the Ravens signing him are very slim. A guy can
dream can't he? LOL

Ok so, do we have cap room to sign a receiver who wants big money? No, I am blind right, you must be too. Right Vjax83? The name says it all Posted Image ! Vjax is not coming here unless steve and Oz park the brinks at his house. Which is not happening, unless he takes a serious pay cut, which I doubt. So have a good day homie. Posted Image

T.O. isn't coming here either, he is close to hitting rock bottom, no SuperBowl contender will touch him. He was a free agent in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and the Ravens passed on him so explain why would they sign him now when he's older?

Would anyone be interested in Mike Wallace? He will be tendered and we would have to give up a 1st round pick. However, they are in worse cap shape and wouldn't be able to match anything. I don't know if I would give up a first but could you imagine? Any thoughts?
