Like the title says, do you guys think we would have won??? I honestly do think we would have beaten them.

I am very happy the PATS lost but come on now. Lets be honest, the pats backed into the SB and everyone outside of MARYLAND knows it. Dam , that was our SB. Kinda sick of busting, RAVENS could have been a dynasty. I mean , we still could but Chances are going to get harder and harder. A team can't keep making the Play offs every yr. Not in our Division. Look at the PATS and their division, Maimi,Bills,Jets. Nuff said.

Oh yeah, we definitely could have won the game. We have a better team than the Giants and the Pats, but the Pats caught some lucky breaks. Our secondary would have done much better against the Giants receivers than the Pats did and I dont think they can run as effectively against our front 7. They wouldnt be able to stop Ray Rice either. Well, there's always next year.

Well, I think webb could have handled cruz but hakeem nicks would have destroyed us, just like kenny britt and vincent jackson did. the front 4 of the giants would have manhandled our oline IMO, if the pats could do it the giants would have destroyed us

I dont really know for sure, we could have won but fact is we didnt execute in the AFCCG enough to even be in that game

Two things, both just my opinion. 1. We could have beat the Giants. 2. You need valium.

Honestly, if the PATS front could stop Rice, Gaints would have had no problem stopping him. I think this team next yr has to establish the throw first to open up the run. Its too evident that TEAMS are game planning against the RUN First and being very successful at it, I knew the PATS were going to try and stop the Run. Cam should have known that too and that is where i think is his major faults. Im hoping Cam's thick skull will realize this, its not like we don't have the talent at QB or WR. The WRers just need to learn how to catch the gimme balls.

The Pats have a good run-stuffing D-line though. Wilfork, Deadrick, Love, Warren. All big bodies that can clog the lane. The Giants dont have the same size up-front. We were able to run on a lot of teams that have more talent than the Giants do, and if they are going to bring 7-8 into the box than Flacco can beat them in the passing game. I mean its a hypothetical situation, but I dont see the Giants as a great run-stopping front at all.

I saw someone say next year NFL Analysists had a poll and we are not even in the top 9 for the Super Bowl Next Year and everyone is doubting us next year well lets think about this were the Giants even thought of to win the Super Bowl I think we play better under Pressure and when we are the under dawg next year were going to New Orleans and bringing the Super Bowl back to Baltimore

No doubt in my mind Giants offense wouldnt have done that good.
Also no doubt in my mind Joe Flacco would give up a safety.
So yes, we would have wooped 'em.

Yea, it would have been very similiar to their game against San Fran but we would have beat them in the fourth quarter

i believe that we would have won that game! so now, which is more painful......

knowing that we didn't get to the SB....or...knowing that if we did get to the SB...we had a better chance of beating the giants than the patriots did last night?

ohhhhhh...the agony!

I really believe we would have. I feel our secondary would have held up against the Giants WRs and Eli would have stayed away from Ed's half of the field. The only thing that makes me stop and think is Tuck, JPP and Usemyiora.

I wish this poll was different. Wish it was a scale of 1-5 off how likely it would be to beat them. That pass rush they have would of mauled our line and Flacco would of been on his back all game. However, our corners would of matched up well. Not sure how Run game would of done. It would of been hard fought though.

I think if Cam calls the right game plan to offset their pass rush, lots of rollouts, bootlegs, and screens to Rice we could win. I absolutely love our D vs their O, I think Eli has far less time to throw vs our D. I think Flacco would have played lights out to silence his critics and I can't see Ed or Ray having bad games on this stage. Reed almost guranteed a pick as he always seems to get one in the playoffs.

The sickening part of all of this is that we probably win this game, if we can beat the 49ers whose defense is better than the Giants than we could definetely have some success vs NY.

Obviously the Giants offense is better than San Frans, although their running game is far worse, we would probably need to score over 20, but I really like our chances. NE never really got their running game going, I think we would have and that would have also offset their pass rush.

This thread is so depressing.

Ravens would not have lost to the 9-7 Giants. Not after a two week rest to get ready for the game. It would not have been close.

With our defense Eli would have not played as well and we would have balanced Rice with Flacco we could be hoisting the Lombardi now!!!!

All of this, I still can't believe we lost that AFCCG, we played so well on the road and should have won. Its too early to speculate about next year, but if we completely revamp our offense and continue to do what we do on D, I like our chances, we have a lot of young players who care more about winning the SB then their contracts, and that's something not every team can say. A small condolence but not a great one, at least NE lost.

I am 1000% positive Flacco would have never given up a safety, You know why, because Cam would have never let him throw it in the first place, you know dam well we would have ran it and ran it and ran it. Im positive.

I think Flacco would of been on his back that game. Our defense would of had to win that game for us, that pass rush of the Giants is too good during prime time.

It's true though. Not sure how Rice would of fared, but the What If's are over, onto the 2012 season.

We might get a pretty good idea next season. If the Ravens get stomped like they did the last time they played the Giants (which was, incidentally, after another SB win) then it's probably a safe bet that they would not have won in February.

Yeah but, wasn't that Flacco and Rice's rookie season?

I agree and also believe we would have beaten them for your exact reasons. I hate to say it but this really was our year.

At least we had the cornerbacks to keep those WRs in check. Unlike NE, which was using a makeshift defense.

Our Offense though might struggle against that D-line.

So it's going to be a low-scoring affair.
