Bernard Pollard: New Contract?

What is the chance we redo his contract so he retires a Raven? I really want to get his jersey (Patriot-Killer reasons) but i don't want to if he is going to leave us after next year

I believe Ozzie already puts him on his must-do list.......probably after Rice, Grubbs, and Webb contract.....

He's the official Patriots killer. He's ruined 3 of their seasons now.

Just leaves a fuzzy feeling in your belly, no?
It's just so unusual. No matter what team he's on, he finds a way to ruin the Pats. It's absolutely hilarious.

Patriots should trade a kings ransom to us for him, solves their problems

edit, though then he may do a Kelly Gregg and hurt a star player in training camp

I cant believe teams like the Chiefs and Texans let him go.
Not 100% on this but I think because of Reed we are able to use Pollard to his strengths. I wouldnt mind resigning him but nothing too expensive.

Did Pollard sign a 1 or 2 year deal? If he is a free agent again, I wouldn't think it would take too much to get him back under contract, he finally got to play on a good defense and had a pretty good year for us, fit in as well if not better than Landry back there.

Two year deal
He is under contract for next season and seems very happy here

Ozzie has plenty of time to get something worked out

I hope Ed plays another season so pollard can again hit those RBs and TEs at the line of scrimmage
I love our starting safeties right now

Might aswell buy a custom jersey with the name "Patriots slayer".
Really, the Giants should give him a ring.

No, that is true. Reed covers for a lot of players deficiencies, but still. He was the leading tackler for the Texans last year and in a 3-4 defense it is far easier to play around with a SS' coverage assignments and bringing him down, blitzing him etc. Wade Phillips would have maximized Pollard's talents as well.

cuz they want to play nice game, gentle and cuddling game.......

Pollard would wreak havoc to any "insect" on his sight.......

If anyone would trade for him it would be the Bills, Dolphins, or Jets. Jets are so stupid they would probably trade their top two draft picks for him since he is the Paterminator. Then they would think they are going to the Super Bowl again.

Yes, we need to get him a new contract. One less position we need to fill in next year's draft. I'd rather only have to look for a FS than a SS & FS, especially when Pollard is this good for our scheme.

Pollard personifies the phrase, "PLAY LIKE A RAVEN."

Big fan...sign him LT. In the short term, I cannot wait to see which Patriot he picks on next season when they have to play us at The Bank!

If we open the season against the Patriots, they better put bricks around Brady. Last time he faced Pollard to open the season, that was the end of his.

Gerry Sandusky interviewed players over the season
You should check out the video
Now I did do a search of the site but I could not find it, sorry
But maybe you saw it earlier this season

For a brutal hard-hitting player, he's actually pretty softly spoken and articulate off it.

Local media made Pollard media good guy
Bad guy on the field, good guy off it

They bought him a pair of jocks as he has a habit of doing interviews in the dressing room while undressed
