IMO There's a differance between Elite QB and Elite Passer Payton is an Elite QB and Elite Passer The only one. If you don't think so check the colts record last year and this. He is a field general. Thats what makes him the total package. Flacco is an Elite QB 44 Reg season win in 4 years with a major change in personel each year. Nuf said He is not an Elite passer yet. No. That's not how you measure a great QB. Peyton was great before he won a super bowl because he made all the throws and could lead his team from behind.

HAHAHA, Love how you all put the Wins on the QB when the Defense is doing all the hard work. You really havent ever played a team sport if you think it takes one person to win a game and we don't put W's on Ray Rice's Resume like we do Joe's when Ray carrys our offense.

Do you put the losses on Sanchez, or the whole Jets team? Jw.
And the reason why people put so much on the QB position is because it is the most important position in all of sports. Joe has done everything he's been asked to do and then some. His wins, durablity, stats and consistency in my eyes is something that other Qb's dont have that makes him "great".

You win as a team and you lose as a team. You people are fine to say he wins us games but won't say a word about him in a loss.

As for sanchez, I don't give a crap about Sanchez. He's not my QB. I don't compare this franchise to the Jet's they are all talk and we walk the walk.

Wins, Durability, Stats, and Consistency?

You know how I feel about the Wins and I agree with the durability but on no way possible doe his stats and consistency come anywhere close to Great. I don't know how you can honestly say that. I'm not saying trade or cut him, just saying don't put him in category he doesn't belong in.

IMO Joe is not inconsistent. Our playcalling, offensive line and our WRs are. Call me a homer Idc, Just because his numbers dont look great you cant blame everything on him. And Idk about the "you people" but if he does something wrong, any little thing wrong he is the most criticized QB in the whole league. But for what he has to deal with I think he has been more then great for us. Plus when you have a RB like RR27 your numbers wont look great. They dont have to.

I am not saying he's a game manager, but he manages the game the way Cameron tells him to, and if he has to comeback to win it he will deliver and drive us down the field. He's done it time after time. Stats dont make a QB "Great"

Plus we consistenly win. Thanks to Joe, (the most important part of our offense) not being a sanchez/romo type and sucking/choking.
Theres no way he would have won all these games the last 4 years without a great QB. Look at when we had Boller, Our Defense was was always top 5. Look at Houston last year, if they had a better QB out there, they would of been good enough to win the supebowl. Everything comes back to the QB, even if you have the # 1 D, or #1 Running game.

Thats why over half the league would take Joe to be their QB over theres.

So instead of caring about sanchez do you think the whole Ravens team lost the AFCC, or Billy Cundiff/Lee Evans did?
I'm talking morally I know we all lost officially, but if we had a "great" WR or K, do you think we would have won it? Do you think they would have made a catch, or kick a field goal if they were in the "great" departement at their positions?..... Because our Great QB put us in position to win it the last 2 years but our recievers couldnt catch it. We dont know what would have happened but I do know that.

Our great QB has the 2nd most road playoff game wins in NFL history. In only 4 years! I mean there is something special about that.... Being able to do that and have that as your resume makes you better then a lot of QB's who cant. A-lot.
..........
Also the Jets went to 2 afc championships in the last 3 years, so they kinda do walk the talk. Not the talk provided by their HC but they have been good lol.
