That's not the only problem - Since 09, he's picked seven players in rounds 1-3 on defense - he's drafted guys like McCourty, Cunningham, Dowling, Spikes, and Chung early - but they just haven't produced the way he probably intended.
Outside of Spikes, who is a fairly solid player, the rest are about as mediocre as it gets. Dowling will never be healthy, Cunningham is one dimensional and only ok at that (pass rush), and Chung was never great in coverage, I thought he would make a better SS. He needs to calm down on the Gators players lol.

Carr averages about $7mil a year, right? Anybody know how big a hit he is to the cap this year?

This is not meant to sound rude but it will, but where did you get that number? I never heard of that. He makes 3.5m/yr. Foxworth is our overpaid corner at 8million something.
Ozzie, please sign Marcus McNeil (LT). It's all I want for off-season. Thanks.

I could see Carr a Pat, they could use at least some skill at CB which Carr has.

I would be cool with a 6th rounder, he has no trade value. I just want his contract gone

No one is gonna trade for Chris Carr. Some of you guys need to get a better grip on what a tradeable player actually is. Cary williams is actual trade bait (I wanna keep him though). I'm so sick of people saying we should trade guys that not a single team would trade anything more than a 7th round pick for.

You mean we can't trade Philip Livas for a 7th? Aww, man.

Trade Bernard Pollard to them for 3 first round picks, he's cost them 2 maybe 3 Superbowls now.
lol, they would also have to give us Mayo to get them back.

Welcome to the team Tommy

I'd like to think Carr could at least garner a 7th rounder, after all Mark Clayton + 7th rounder got us a 6th round pick.

No worries, you're right. I get the salaries of overrated corners confused easily.
