Suggs DPOY award is huge but off the field character is also very important. So shoutout to Matt Birk and thanks for an amazing career. Best luck in retirement.

Did he say he was retiring???

If anyone deserves this, it's Matt. He's been one of the best human's around. Great player.
Ozzie, please sign Marcus McNeil (LT). It's all I want for off-season. Thanks.

If Matt Birk decides to hang up his cleats, then I'm all for signing him as an offensive line assistant, so he can teach the new center how to be a solid pro-bowler. You can't have everything in life, but I believe our team is long overdue.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Draftees:
Trent Richardson (RB), Stephon Gilmore (CB), Lavonte David (WLB), Bobby Massie (OL), Dwight Bentley (CB), Trenton Robinson (FS)

New England Patriots Draftees:
Fletcher Cox (DE), Ronnell Lewis (Joker), Shea McClellin (Rover), Bobby Wagner (Jack), Chris Givens (WR), Marvin Jones (WR), Trevin Wade (CB), Russell Wilson (QB), Rhett Ellison (HB/FB/TE)

Now that actually would be one of the most brilliant ideas I've heard so far in this short start to our offseason. I guarantee Matt would be a million times better than Andy Moeller at teaching guys how to be stud o-linemen. Then maybe he could get a ring as a coach.

Proud as hell of Matt. Some cities have teams, a select few have organizations... but we have a family!
Heaven is an Autumn Sunday on the Bay. The shore's on fire with the fall colors, crab cakes frying in the kitchen, and we're screaming our Ravens on to victory!

His acceptance speech last night was eloquent, as one would expect. Then he finished with a little dig towards Steeler fans which was hilarious.

This is a very prestigious and even more elusive award than a "player of the year award." Congrats Matt on getting the recognition and such a big honor for all that you do. Just wish you'd held up better against Wilfork two weeks ago! J/k man.
