Joe will only gain recognition, if he wins the Super Bowl. It's lame that it's not going to be this year.

However, since Flacco did not win the big game, maybe we don't have to sign him as an elite QB ($15+ M). Flacco for under $14 M per year is a bargain.
Even if he wins the big game, he'll get the least credit most likely.

It is quite ridiculous that it wasn't shown. Was an incredible moment.

That's what was shown last night on TV.

The Packers goal line stand didn't seem all that impressive. I believe it was a Week 1 game in which that occurred too, so not much drama involved there. Romo playing hurt with broken ribs isn't anything new, it's been done before by other players throughout the league every year. I can understand the Raiders game after Al Davis' death as a nomination due to sentimental reasons. And well, Tebow Time is Tebow Time, can't really avoid that. It just befuddles me as to how a finalist for the award (Flacco's GW drive) doesn't even make the cut for the actual award show. Oh well, that was the winner in my book.

I thought I must have been mistaken about that drive being in the running when they didn't show any clips. Now that I know it was nominated I find it ridiculous that it was not shown. What gives?!

This just goes to show you that the fan votes actually mean nothing, bottom line is the higher ups in the NFL have the final decision, because we all know that Tebow absolutely should not of won that award. My god Romo`s performance was more impressive than the Golden-boy Tim Tebow, but for them to not even show recognition to Flacco is just flat out ignorant and a slap in the face to the fans such as myself who voted 4 Flacco, and in my opinion should of won.

I was stunned they didn't show it but hey it would be against the rules to show Pittsburgh losing, especially in Pittsburgh. I mean let's just pretend the 92 Yard Drive didn't happen.... or that the game didn't happen.

I'm upset but come on, even a blind man could have figured out Tebow was going to win the award, but I'm even more upset Tebow didn't thank Marian Barber for fumbling!
I think it should've gone to Moore of the Patriots. If he didn't hold Pitta, we would have had a 1st down and gone on to score a TD. It's because of him that the NFL's favorite crybaby QB is back in the Super Bowl
"Don't stop huntin'! Don't stop huntin'! Until you have him up on your wall!"-Ray Lewis to Terrell Suggs on hunting 49ers QB Alex Smith

Just means I will never buy a GMC truck, Chevrolet or Buick. That is all. Epic fail.

"Everything points to a long-team deal getting done sooner rather than later. The only way to justify a different course of action is if the front office truly believes it can develop a more effective quarterback than Flacco over the next four or five years....Good luck with that" - Peter Schmuck on Flacco's future in Baltimore

The are just the corporate sponsor of the award. They have no bearing on who's selected as the winner.

Well, as I have done all season, I voted my little fingers to the bone for that! lol Whats more is I will keep voting every chance I get to vote for one of our players, and I hope other fans will as well. You may think it doesn't matter, or it won't count, but indirectly it counts for alot. Alot of the storylines these networks CHOOSE to promote is based on the response from fans. Tebow??? Anyone watch "Inside the NFL"? Remember the response from Steeler fans when Sapp called the Steeler defense old? The flood of responses got an on air apology. From their polls, tweets, blogs, comment sections, and texts, etc. believe me they know the larger fanbases, and consequently they cater to them for ratings.
We may be a small media market, but I am sick and tired of getting overlooked and denied. The squeaky wheel gets the grease ya know, and I see nothing wrong in giving them a nicely worded reminder that we play in the NFL too!

I was dumbfounded that in the memorial segment of last night's show, they didn't include PAT MODELL either, but you bet they included Myra Kraft! Call me crazy, because I have done it before, but someone at the NFL channel is going to hear about both these things. I will state my position respectfully, but they are going to know I am ticked off!!!

Well then they should put more thought rather than just shell out money that they should spend a little bit more wisely in.

Yeah, including Martha Kraft and not Pat Modell was low. I am not sure yet who I need to contact really. Someone is going to hear from me though because that was the final straw. I just want to make sure it is the right someone.

I sent the following message to the NFL network this morning. They may respond or they may not, but at least I got my two cents worth in, and I am just getting started! lol

I enjoyed the NFL Honors Awards program. I was wondering however if you could clear up a question I had concerning the GMAC "Never Say Never" Moment of the Year segment. On your video ballot there were five nominees and only four of those nominees were actually featured on the television broadcast. Torrey Smith's TD catch on Flacco's 92 yrd. drive to beat the Steelers was omitted in your introductory segment to the GMAC award. As a fan, I am sure you can understand how an opportunity to see your team nationally recognized would be a proud moment for its supporters. Our "never say never" moment anticipated by fans voting on your network never occurred according to your program. I am positive this was not deliberate on the part of the NFL network, but was just an error. But as a fan I would be remiss in not bringing this to your attention. An apology for this omission would go a long way to the fans of the Baltimore Ravens who regularly view your network. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.
