A Player In Tomorrow's Game?

37 posts in this topic

If there was a player that is playing in tomorrow's game that could be on the Ravens, who would it be and why?

I say Victor Cruz, because he's an elite receiver. He could definitely help our receiving game.

Well I was going to say Gronk, but since I was beaten to it, I'll say JPP. Imagine what would be going through the minds of quarterbacks if they looked across the field at Suggs on one side and JPP on the other!

Wilfork. No doubt in my mind would be a huge asset to this team. Although I know almost nothing about the Giants

Good question by the way.

I would say it would be a toss up between JPP or Vince Wilfork. Wilfork could have been ours if we had not traded for Kyle Boller! Imagine that D-line!

I wish JPP was playing in purple. For some reason, he's been my favorite non-raven player since he's been in the league. Him lining up opposite of Suggs? OMG.

Wouldn't mind having Gronk as well haha

I like Branch we can use the deep threat. Maybe Gronk or Hernandez could work in the slot as well. I have to much faith in Dickson and Pitta to replace both the Tightends..

I would love to have either Nicks or Cruz on the Ravens. JPP would be a monster opposite of Suggs as well.

The thing about him too is I feel he could be dominant on our d line because of his size and athletic ability. That kind of rusher opposite ngata and suggs would create major chaos for linemen. Don't forget Kruger coming with him as well.

Gronk. Because he's Gronk.

This.

You can't cover him and he blocks like a Tackle. I want him drilling for oil in the Bank.

yup, that dude is legit..he's huge, he's got speed and great hands

Gronk makes things much easier on Tom Brady...I'd argue he's had more impact on Brady than when Moss came in that 1 year

I had the same feeling we were going to go after Dez and those Cowboys robbed us. I think of the first 3 picks the only one that went according to plan was Cody(who I wanted and predicted we would draft) though getting Dickson and Pitta I feel will work out/has worked out.

Side note, anyone remember those numbers that they gave us and something about 22 or 29 cathces for Dickson on 3rd down. I wondered if it was spread out or just a few games he had big performances.

If you look at the front page of espn.com, with Gronks pic, he has the muscles of an all-pro lineman lol... no joke haha. But he has the speed/hands of a HOF Te imo.

Could you even begin to imagine an offense with Rice/Bryant/Smith/Gronk/Flacco?? That would be absolutely insane, and a dynasty at that lol.

Tom Brady or JPP

I would actually prefer flacco. Younger more upside and tougher in my opinion. When flacco has the time Brady does he's vicious. I would take Jpp though.

With Brady, we'd also have to factor in that he'd go from New England's system to Cam's. I don't even think a quarterback as great as he is could overcome the ineptitude of Cam's playcalling - or maybe he'd have the clout to tell Cam "No" when Cam starts doing screwball things.
