I think this is a must win game for us to be honest. We have to stop the bleeding and get some positive momentum going into the middle of the season.
We have to figure out something for their wildcat formation. Its fooling everybody...

What do you think our chances are?

Yea but we can really exploit Chad's arm strength, there is only a certain length of field we have to cover cause he is not a downfield threat...

Their D is pretty good, so it will probably be rough again for Joe, but like I said, if we have any hope for this year we HAVE to win this game

I think the Raven's chances to win will be good if they hit the same keys:

1. Don't give up the big play on defense;

2. Run the ball effectively and control th eclock;

3. Limit turnovers;

4. Better ply calling on offenseand better play from the starting QB.

If the Raven's hit those keys, I think their chances of winning are very good.

We will definitely have to bring our "A" game...like they say, "Any given Sunday".

The game will be won in the trenches, on the O and D lines, and with the establishment of a running game for us, keying off this with a balanced passing attack, and on the flip side shutting down their run and getting sacks and pressures. Sound easy doesn't it???, but it will be tough to actually get done.

Well we need to do what won us our first 2 games. That's ball control. If we can run the ball with Ray Rice and Leron McClain and keep the ball away from the Dolphins offense we have a good chance of winning. Remember if you think about things, this is a revenge game for the Ravens. Last year we gave the Dolphins their only win of the season. the Ravens have to march back into Miami and beat the Dolphins this year. Another key that I think was not on the list is STOP THE WILD CAT! If the Ravens can stop that formation that already gives us a chance to win and than that puts pressure on Chad to win the game through the air(which if the dolphins put too much pressure on Chad and Chad puts too much pressure on himself, that could mean a few turnovers for the Ravens Defense). Even better if the Ravens want to, lets beat the Dolphins at their own game and run the Wildcat play against them. They can win next week at Miami and still have a chance for the post-season but if we lose to the Dolphins like last year the Ravens can kiss the post-season good bye.

If we are healthy we have a great shot. What are down now, 2 OL men, when our OL was thin anyways. Down 3 DBs? Injuries killed us last year, and it doesn't look any different this year.

It was easy for Manning to go wild on us this year. Corey Ivy going man to man deep with Wayne. Even last year we were down our starting two CB's. I wish our team would stay healthy. But then again, maybe the injuries are Flacco's fault too.

I am not convinced we can go in there and win. If it was in Baltimore, I'd call it an easy win but its in Miami. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

This wildcat formation they are rocking looks slick though, I wonder how we are gonna treat that defensively...

i think if we eat the humble pie we been served we can go in there and win. we need to become one team again. i think today we saw what not playing as a team can do for us. and the play calling on the offensive side needs to step it up (talking about the cord not flacco). right now is the true test to tell us how the season is going to be.
Taking our performance from today? Very slim.
you dont think were goning to win? who the heck are you, you smell like a troll... We have a good chance of winning just how we had a good chance of winning the last games but just couldnt capitalize on what we had... Plain and simple... hopefully we get Washington back and hopefully walker isnt hurt to bad because we need him as well... I think well come out with a huge win that sparks this team... just wait and see

Both teams are coming off tough losses and are looking to get back on track and go 3-3. Here's to a good game and a tough battle without injuries and bad calls and may the best team win. :D

If the Ravens loose to Miami, expect to see alot of mysterious injures all of a sudden to vets. that will prevent guys from playing. And you all know what I mean, just matter of time

Quite simply, we need to stick with the run game, and keep McClain involved. McClain got 2 carries against the smallest defense in the league. I know we went down early, but that is just inexcusable. We Leaned on McGahee and he couldn't produced. McClain has been unstoppable when we've given him the rock.

As for their wildcat getup, I think all we need to do is have Ray come in and just level Pennington. Not to injure him, but To get him groggy and let them know if they leave him naked on the outside he'll pay the price. Also I think they've got to be running out of ideas with that thing. I don't know what they could do with it now that we haven't already seen.

that's a great avatar! :o

We're going to have play lots of zone to beat that wildcat formation, force Ronnie to throw it between the seams. maybe give them a taste of their own fish! have Troy and Flacco line up in the backfield, then snap it to Troy and have Flacco with his 6'6 230 lb frame with 6.6 speed, at WR. that will show em!

Is anyone going to the game? I'm heading down there with my girlfriend and we need to figure out what we are doing for tailgating? Any ideas?

We stink it up on the road, and haven't played well in Miami lately so I am by no means expecting a win this week, but actually, I think we will probably lose, as much as it pains me to say...

OK I'm glad I'm not alone in being weary of Miami. Everyone at work is writing them off like we've already got the win and telling me I'm crazy for thinking otherwise. I don't expect us to go in there with a chip on our shoulder from last year, I plan on us going in there with a chip on our shoulder from our last 3 losses.

what kind of fans are you guys.. Support your team no matter what.. GET OVER it we lost 3 games and really only got crushed on 1 game... We should be looking to rebound on Miami. Im sick of hearing these so called fans saying they think were going to loose...
We have a good of chance as winning as Miami does. their not better than us.. Where has the faith gone to? Look at the giants last year.. They stunk up the first half of the season then BOOM these guy's won almost all roads game and still struggled at home but made it to the playoffs and then they became the Champs...Stop complaining and crying over these losses cause its not going to do anything...You guys cant expect this young team to be dominant against good overall teams.. We first have to win those games vs teams not as great to get the hype up...

It should turn out to be a good game. I think somebody might have siad it already but we have to stay away from giving up the big play. I don't think that they will get away with those trick plays with our Defense. As far as the offense goes we know that they love to get after the QB with Porter and company so I think ACCURATE screen passes and some draw plays will back them off a little. Flacco needs to get over his mistakes from last week and turn it into a positive and this team is a good one to do that on.

I am hoping for 250+ yrds and 2 TD's along with 20 yards rushing, but I think he will put up something like 170 yds 1 TD and 1 INT with 5-10 yards on the ground. I feel that he will have these kind of numbers because the Dolphins are not a team that will put up points so quickly like the Colts and we will have time to actually use the gameplan that will be set in place. This could be a game that Flacco breaks out and finds ways to stretch the field but will have to utilize the screens and playactions plays effectively to do so because Porter and company are gonna want to take a shot at Flacco like the Colts did.
