I said Ngata. Sizzle comes in a close second and Reed a close 3rd, but Ngata is just special.
We know you voted for Flacco. Stop it. One of those six votes belong to you.

In their primes it was Ray Lewis and Ed Reed

now? hmm..Ngata is considered the most dominant at his position thru the league

Suggs is really good, Webb if he keeps developing could be great...its a tough question

Ray Lewis. Couldn't vote for anyone else. Other guys may be more effective now, but you can't vote against your hero...

Nope, voted for Ngata. Flacco is the most important player on the team, because he is the quarterback, but the best players on this team, in order, are Ngata, Ed Reed when healthy, Sizzle, Ray Rice, Marshall Yanda, Ray Lewis. It doesn't change the fact that you have to have good quarterback play to win in this league, regardless of your defense or running game. If you didn't, the Jets would have been in back-to-back Superbowls.

<Deleted> I like Flacco, I want him to succeed, but if there's a chance at an upgrade at quarterback i.e. Peyton Manning somehow becomes available, I'll be the first to get rid of him. Your argument is as follows: Flacco sucks, therefore anyone who supports him is a blind fool. This is why nobody believes when you claim your knowledge, because instead of using said knowledge you just spout out nonsense and then act shocked when people call you on it. I was pretty sure we agreed not to argue with each other any more, <deleted> So, this will be the last time I ever respond to one of your posts or one of your comments on my posts.

You want Flacco to fail, it means more to you than this team winning, you just want the guy gone. Then you laugh and giggle when he does poorly, it doesn't matter to you that when he succeeds, the team succeeds. <Deleted> Good day.

Why exactly would the jets be a shoe in? They have a mediocre run game, and a questionable defense. Ignorance is as ignorant does. Calling people ignorant doesn't make your case any more believable. I just wish the people on here that seem to have so much more knowledge about the game that they can call others ignorant on a daily basis, would start acting like it. I never said Flacco sucked, i said "he had an average season". Which by the way is true. Oh and for the record, i would not let him sit to play Manning. I believe he has earned his job. He will get better. Perhaps Pittsburgh fans should root for their home team, and stop living in the DMV.

I said Ed Reed because he is such a game changer, without even having to do anything.

Some players you never know how good they could have been.. Bart Scott if we had kept I'm on the team this would have been his prime year and he would have been our number 1 player....

Ladarius Webb has been the most consistent all year on defense. I definitley think he could become something special with his athletic ability to play on the outside, inside, and at safety. He reminds me of Charles Woodson quite a bit. He has a great mentor in Ed Reed and Webb has credited a lot of his growth this year to film study and how much guys like Ed and Ray study film to craft their game. I believe he'll bring the #1 CB role like C-MAC did back in the day.

Yeah, cuz he went to New York and played mediocre... That makes so much sense. He's a product of the system and benefited from both Ray, and the insane talent around him. Bart Scott is mediocre.

I understand that John Harbs system works here in Baltimore and Rex Ryan System is a mimic of the system that Harb's has here..
What if the product of the system (Scott) was still in the system would he be the best player today considering he was already ranked amongst his peers?

i voted rice. he adds so much to our offense. he is the best running back in the nfl in what he is doing.

ray is our leader. he will always be the face of the ravens. but as of now, rice is the most important part to win games. we all saw what happened when he didn´t perform well...

There is no defensive tackle in the league that has the speed nor the strength to drop back in coverage that of Ngata. I had only 1 vote and I voted Ngata..

He's playing in the same defensive system under Rex, come on now...

strength is needed in coverage? Interesting. I'm sure plenty of DTs have the strength to do it, but not the speed and agilty :P
