Everything can be argued but I think that our number 1 guy is Haloti Ngata.
What do other people think? It would be interesting to see what the fans vote in as the number 1 player in Purple and Black..

I said Ngata. Sizzle comes in a close second and Reed a close 3rd, but Ngata is just special.

Ngata.
When he's completely healthy, I don't even think it's a question to be honest.

My favorite player is RL52, not just on this team but the entire NFL. He's not our best athlete, though. I can't really compare an ILB to a DT or a QB. They all play different positions.

If you mean who is our best athlete then I have to say Ngata. He could play almost any position. Webb would be right up there, though.

I can compare JJ to Suggs because they both play OLB. The best there is clearly Suggs. The best DT is Ngata not Redding or McPhee.

Ozzie, please sign Marcus McNeil (LT). It's all I want for off-season. Thanks.

Ngata is the key to our defense. Ozzie has stated this and its pretty obvious that when hes having a bad day our pass rush is usually off. When hes on, pass rush and LOS get dominated. Honestly, I think if not for him Ray might have retired because hes making all our LBs jobs easier.

When healthy, Ngata is the best defensive player in the NFL.

Really tough since we're talking about a #1 overall player.

Yet, as pertains to current overall value to this team, I'm going with Ngata. The man draws 2-3 lineman just to block him, he's fast, and just an absolute wrecking ball.

But, I don't know who Krugar & Bolden are so I may change my mind when more informed. Posted Image

You can definitely make a case for Sizzle. He's my second favorite player on the team, but on their best days, I'd still say Haloti is slightly more dominant than him.

It was Ray Lewis, then it was Ed Reed, now it's Ngata. Sizzle is a close 2nd though

Seems like this topic is more of a question about how to spell our players' names!

Joking aside, I voted Webb. He's becoming more and more of a shutdown receiver. I might have voted thinking who WILL be the best player on the team, so if not Webb, I'd still go with Reed. He had a pretty bad season, but he is still there for the important plays (4th quarter vs. the Texans), + he's my favorite player. Posted Image
