EA is going to be doing a Madden Cover Tournament again and this time it is expanding to 64 players and the winner of the early round will move on to fill out the 32 team bracket. No players have been announced yet.

So who here agrees with me on two things....

1. Tim Tebow will most likely win this thing.

2. Tim Tebow will be the first cover Player who will be the first player to not be effected by the Madden Curse due to the Higher Power negating the Madden Curse Effect.

1. Every Raven player, stay as far away from this as possible
2. Pick someone from the Steelers
3. Or the Patriots
4. Or any pain in the neck player in the AFC

James Harrison.

I'd hate buying Madden with him on the cover, but I'd love to know that he's got the curse gunning for him.

All I hope is that it doesnt go to any Ravens(Which it wont) And that it goes to none of my keepers in fantasy.
(Rodgers,Tebow,Gore,Gronk,Jennings)
I think Brees might go on it again, maybe Gronk.

The way it will work is that 2 players from each Team will be announced as candidates, and what do you know, the AFC West is up first. While it seems it's going to work with one offensive and defensive player, the Raiders choices are surprising. Here are the nominees from the AFC West.

Denver Broncos: Tim Tebow & Von Miller
Kansas City Chiefs: Dwayne Bowe & Derrick Johnson
Oakland Raiders: Sebastian Janikowski & Shane Lechler
San Diego Chargers: Phillip Rivers & Antonio Gates

Now how sad is this, the only players chosen from Oakland is their Kicker & Punter.. that's really sad. How did McFadden not make the cut along with Richard Seymour, those two would have been my choices.

I've already pretty much told my friends that Tim Tebow is going to win (as many people on here have already said). I wish he wouldn't but its whatever i guess.

Curse aside, how about Sizzle?
Curse aside, Sizzle is very marketable and would be a great cover athlete. He'd certainly be what EA Sports would want in a cover athlete when making his rounds in the media, as he's very personable and knows how to work a crowd.

Great points.. I was just taking his DPOY award into consideration, but I didn't think about these things. I wouldn't doubt if he gets close to winning

My goodness... can there be a worst cover candidate than Blaine Gabbert?????

Jaguars: Maurice Jones-Drew & Blaine Gabbert
Titans: Chris Johnson & Jake Locker(Locker may have been a backup QB but he is still a better candidate than Gabbert)

Probably not but is there anyone other than MJD for Jax that has even the slightest chance of making the cover? I doubt it personally.

They can use the picture of Gabbert crapping his pants and throwing with his eyes closed.

No surprises there. Well, maybe a little about Ray because he got the NFL Blitz cover but I would probably have guessed those two.

I wonder which one wins the head to head?
