I would to start it enlight of all of this recent bashing. I like to give john props for sending in tapes to the league his 1st couple yrs as the refs were making unfair calls towards us.

He gaves us slogans like "play like a raven" and "relentless" to help get fans excitied and the ultimately set the ravens tone. And for 2012..."whateva it takes...we will find a way to win"

Also, for making our team discipline when we were the most penalized team before he came on baord.

Also, the consistency of playoff apperance has given us news and talk in the national media. There was more ravens news on espn than the stillers.

And for us never having to worry about him embarrassing his players, the organization, the fans or our city. (unlike some coaches from the nJ area!)

People who insult Harbaugh and disrespect him are ridiculous. He has yet to have a losing year with the Ravens, and started with a rookie qb (also to mention they were 5-11 the year before he got there). He makes it to the playoffs, and if it isn't for a few bad breaks every year, then the Ravens are in the Super bowl two years in a row. Come off it people. Great coach. He manages the team well, and deserves respect.

Respect for coach Harbaugh; he's done nothing but bring the "W" home to us for four straight years. I hope he can continue the play hard and winning tradition in the Ravens nation.

Well done, John Harbaugh *pat on the back*.....
AGAIN FIRE CAM CAMERON!!!! although it's not his fault that Evans dropped the pass to SB...........

Until the bad Harbaugh learns that you can't let loyalty dominate your better judgement in an industry like this he can't receive my endorsement. Cam should have been fired last year, and he definitely should not have been renewed this year. And that's just scratching the surface. His tenure has also been marked by abysmal clock management.

Cam Cameron did not drop that pass in the endzone, did not miss a 32 yard field goal, and did not let up a 3rd and 20 the year before this one... I'm not the biggest fan of Cameron, but Harbaugh's loyalty in this situation isn't completely misguided

Did you even watch the State of the Ravens? Steve and Ozzie made the decision to retain him, stop trying to blame things on Harbs that are not Harbs' decision. It just makes you look ignorant.

And, they had respectable reasoning for making that decision. The offense is heading in the right direction, and they want continuity. Just because we hire someone else, doesn't mean they will automatically be better. They may actually be worse. At least with Cam the offense has steadily improved.

So you are telling me that inconsistent clock control issues (that are blown way out of proportion) and his "loyalty" issues make hm bad? You are crazy.

Actually, the Head Coach is empowered to select his staff; therefore, Harbs most probably pleaded Cam's case...again.

That's true, but Ozzie doesn't blindly just let Harbs does whatever he wants; however, Ozzie trusts Harbs based on the results and the consistency that John brings to the table since he's hired.

We fans don't like the idea of keeping Cam, including me of course, but that's how Harbs runs the show, and as long as he keeps making to the postseason and winning he will continue to run the show.

Bringing in Caldwell as QB coach shows the FO wants to take this offense to the next level as helping Joe to become a complete QB.

Of course, Cam will still call plays, but he will give Joe more plays to audible and more freedom than last year; as Joe's footwork and presnap reading improved from the help of Caldwell, he will make a better judgement pre snap and execute the call more effectively.

Mannings' playcallings are very simple but he uses it effectively due to his master of presnap reading. Cam's playcallings are very simple, but with Caldwell's help Joe will use it more effective based on the given opposing defense.

I think we will get into that direction and hopefully Caldwell teaches Joe all of his experiences from the future HOF Mannings......

And if you had watched it you would have seen that Bisciotti and Ozzie agreed with the decision again.

So quick we jump to conclusions...

No one here jumping to conclusions although I must say that is the only exercise that some folks get.

Of course they agreed with the decision. No way would they usurp Harb's choice(s) unless they were extremely adverse to the idea. I wouldn't expect them to say any different to the media. Would you? The owners and management handled the briefing with class, as usual.

BTW, I watched....twice.

If you love Harbs, read this Onion article about him.

It is titled "NFL searching for any unused Harbaughs."

great post. caldwell helping joe and ozzie getting some offensive line help should help joe get more time to get the ball out of his hands.... or take off for a run.

I will make a bold statement...I think he is a better coach than take it easy in training camp brian billick. Marvin lewis told the defense they need to not only force turnovers...but score points. Marvin lewis engineered a scoring defense.

But I will say ozzie newsome has improved as a GM tho in his offensive draft choices...and I think the problem was giving brian billick too much say in offensive personel since billick was a self proclaimed genius. Ozzie drafted joe flacco and we been in a better space since in terms of offensive drafting.
