Over / under on the amount of negs?

I was going to ask the same thing. I think it will be close to the amount from the post that read " Ed Reed is hurting the team, he should be benched then cut" from 2 years ago. I think that one got triple digits, didn't it?

My guess is 101.

Ozzie, please sign Marcus McNeil (LT). It's all I want for off-season. Thanks.

Man, im going to get bashed for this one but what the heck. i dont care.

im gonna try and keep this short. im probably one of the few people who think this but i think we should trade him or let him go. now hear me out hes been great for this franchise but its time to let go. hey the 49ers got rid of joe montana and jerry rice, heck the packers had finally let go of Favre. Now im not sying this because we did so well without Ray for 4 games this year. Im saying this cause i had my heart set on him retiring after this season and he says hes coming is unacceptable to me and i feel its time to get rid of him and create new leaders on this team.

What do yall think and be honest.

That's your reasoning for letting go the heart and soul of this team for its entire existence?

I wonder if we can set a record for how fast we get to 100?

if we had someone to man his spot i may not be against him RETIRING, but you just dont flat our cut ray lewis.. difference between ray and favre, rice etc that you mentioned, there was peope before them, here ray is the ravens, hes been with us from day one, hes been here through DCs OCs HC QBs, thick and thin, the man has been here, giving his all every damn day..

Hes done wonders for the team, the city, the players and the coaches.. Ray Lewis is the Ravens, and the Ravens Org will let the man retire.. we owe him that. He could have left years ago and one multiple superbowls, but he commited to us, and we will repay that.

Who knows where this team would have been without him over the years, poor offense, probably bottom half of the league defense, meaning bootom half of the league team for the past 15 years.

He will, no doubt in my mind, retire a Raven

IDDDDDDDDDDIOT.

Not only is it completely asinine to say it in general, but you don't even have a back up plan, why to get rid of Ray, or who the hell will play for him. All you have is some weak "I thought he was going to retire, he said he's coming back now I'm mad" 5 year old logic.

Stay hot.

My first thought when reading the OP was...

YOU must have forgotten to take your meds! Or suffered some sort of psychological break.

I would be willing to bet that the Ravens franchise would NEVER let #52 RL go to another team. I believe the guaranteed money portion of his contract is up next year, but they have some sort of contract to 2016 with Ray.

I'm sure they've already had the discussion with him on becoming the LB's coach when he's ready to quit being the "Field General".

PS...if I could...I would -100 rep you myself for even thinking this, nevermind taking the type to type it!

Another contender for -100?

Seriously though, the Niners got rid of Montana because they had a more than viable replacement in Young.
The Packers got rid of Favre because they had a more than viable replacement in Rodgers.

We don't have a Ray Lewis replacement on the roster.

This this this. Even if we did it's a longshot that we get rid of the guy. The only way it happens is if he (God forbid) gets an injury as severe as Peyton's, to where he can't return to the field 100%. As long as he is playing at a high level why get rid of him? He's a machine jerk!
...right?

look im not gonna sit here and give yall a list of FA that we should get. cause i dont want any of them but look i dont know whos gonna replace ray lewis, yall dont know, nor dose the franchise know who will. but ima say this you are never going to replace ray lewis, not even a guy like ed reed. heck the next lewis and reed type players may end up on a different team. but you kno what if anybody is gonna replace him its the guy that goes into trainig camp and says you i want to be great.thats the player that will replace him

oh yeah 79 more keep them coming

This should shatter the record. Ray can leave whenever he's ready to and not a minute sooner.
