Yea everyone like @Th3Raven who has fire harbaugh as his signature need to think this through. Remember this year how johns brother Jim Harbaugh lead the 49ers to the NFC championship game and all the analysts were calling him the coach of the year and what not...john harbaugh lead us to the afc championship game HIS first year too and to the playoffs every year since then. We are still a young team but are lucky to have ray lewis with his play till I die mentallity, and lets not forget that terrell suggs is 29 we will have him for a while ed reed will most likely be the first to go...but still the point is this team continues to win games and harbaugh aint too shabby...the only thing wrong with him is that he makes some questionable decisions in games sometimes and sides with the wrong people like cam cameron and domonique fozworth he just likes to take up for everyone and doesnt ever have anything bad to say about anyone even if we as fans know they did something wrong. Bottom line id until we start losing out im gona have to stick by harbaugh, but i wish he could use his expertice a little better he was a special teams coach before we got him and are special teams sucks but other than that hes a good coach

Cam Cameron was pobably given a cheap 1 year deal if he performs like he did this year he will be fired immediately and jim caldwell(if hired) will step in. Its a win win i bet jim caldwell we be a great OC he did great things in indy with peyton manning and co i mean 2 years ago they almost won the SB against the saints. So hopefully cam gets run out of town early next season mabey even during the offseason because he has been given way too many chances he should have been fired the last couple of seasons so his leash is bout a centimeter long now

Truthfully I'm kind of wondering how much of a factor that the loss of Pagano to the Colts had to do with Cam staying. Contracts in the NFL are almost meaningless, people get fired all the time. The other thing too, was that, no conspiracy theories here, but things were kind of set up nicely for Cam to stay in that he got Zorn out and Saunders left - I'm wondering if part of the reason Cam is still here is maybe the FO was more comfortable with Cam than anyone in house.

What's his pedigree? I don't know how much of Peyton's success was due to him as opposed to Peyton and Tom Moore.

That's what I said last year, and that's why I'm calling for the bad Harbaugh's and Cam's head now. Keeping Cam was a completely illogical decision, and I never will understand why Bisciotti didn't step in to save his team. Maybe if Caldwell has success as the QB coach, which given how Manning's numbers changed under him I'm assuming he will, it will make it easier for us to get rid of Cam. Clearly no one in house was qualified to replace him, although that doesn't excuse them from not seeking out Hue as OC. He probably disagreed with Harbaugh on something and is in the doghouse, and Haley's 'blowout-gate' kept him out of the running.
Fire Cam Cameron!

Well as far as Peyton personally, Moore was the OC in Indy from 1998-2008. Caldwell was the Quarterbacks coach from 2002-2008. Peyton Manning first four years rating 71, 90, 94, 84 - that's pre- Jim Caldwell, but with Tom Moore. After Caldwell got there - 88, 99, 121, 101, 98, 95, etc. So it seems like Caldwell did have an impact on Peyton's development.

Interesting hire if true. At least Cam won't be the only offensive mind going into next season. It makes Cam staying here slighty(still horrible) more bearable.

@Th3Raven Personally I think Cameron was kept because the Ravens like to hire people within the orginization to take over as coordinator and we really have no one spectacular to do that. We will see tomorrow whether we get Jim Caldwell but if we do get him Cam Cameron can help him learn the Xs and Os better. SO unless cam cameron really tries to give himself and this offense a big overhaul once he starts on doing what he did last year with his vanilla, predictable bad play calling he will be fired and Calldwell steps in. I feel like caldwell will be a great OC.

It's strange how Hue Jackson isn't exactly the hot candidate for OC around the league with all the teams that need a change...yeah, I wanted Hue, but there must be a reason that he's not "the guy," unlike Josh McDaniels and other big-name candidates who've hit the market over the past couple of months. McDaniels was scooped up fairly quickly so it's not as if beggars can be choosers at this juncture.

And Todd Haley looks to be returning to Arizona and the Cardinals had their hearts set on bringing him back, so Haley was never in the running for any team whatsoever.

Well after reading some of these posts about Caldwell as a past QB coach, I feel much less ambivalent about the possibility.

And I find this rather ironic too.

Same on both counts.

Like someone already said though, it's someone more qualified to help Joe develop than Cam so it's a step in the right direction. This is assuming we do hire him of course.

Right. I would assume a confirmation would come today...morning probably, if it's true. And hey anyone that can help Joe and insulate him from the...nm....is fine by me! Posted Image

Here's the irony as I see it...

The Colts give Pagano the former Raven and new HC two Steelers castoffs for coordinators.

Then we apparenty sign Caldwell to QB coach AFTER he talked to the Steelers (I assume about their OC vacancy and I could be wrong about the timing too). But hey anything that annoys Steelers fans is fine by me!!! :D

*scratching head* Too weird. Just too weird

Have to admit, don't really know much about this guy other than Peyton's injury cost him his job.

Have read through these posts though. Hopefully he had a lot to put into Peyton's development. Not sure he'll push Cam if necessary though.

It's evident Joe was much happier and played better with a buffer between him and...you know.

@PARavensgirl Actually, one Steeler cast off. The linebacker coach they aren't real happy about losing. lol Oh and another little tidbit. Apparently all 3 were together on the coaching staff of the Browns for 2 seasons.

Let's see if this holds true. Finally some unexpected and favorable news. IMO if this holds true and Jim Caldwell does join the Ravens as QB coach, this could provide the Ravens organization with a 2nd opinion on Offensive play calling.

Let's see where this goes. I'm excited.

Hmmm... interesting swap - Caldwell for Pagano! In any case Joe needs a QB coach that has cred and Caldwell certainly does, having coached arguably the greatest QB of all time in Manning. If Joe improves this year it will be well worth the hire! Go Ravens and down with the Squealers!
Suggs will me missed but Upshaw, Kruger and Kindle will make up for his loss!!!

And who exactly do you propose we hire? Billick back? Come on man all John has done is win for us every year and take us to the playoffs! Once we get there he doesn't stop either - he takes us to the conference championship game 50% of the time - you do realize that is perhaps a play or two away from playing in the SB and after that who knows??? I don't know if any other coach we hired instead of him could simulate his success so why screw with what works?

Keep John till he stops making us successful...

Now, our youngsters need some route running help. Not going to happen I know, but if we do go for a WR coach, I think Mason would be great. No one runs routes better than he does. And he had the hands 99% of the time. (everyone drops some).
