Don't you guys hate it when you have the hiccups for over like 5 minutes, then they magically disappear? It's frustrating trying to get another hiccup out, but it just won't go.
I hate when I sneeze or cough and they start. Drinking cold soda can sometimes trigger them for me, as well. Hiccups are a weird thing...kinda like appendixes, tailbones, and itches...what purpose do they serve?

Oh hey y'all. Fat Albert got cut (AGAIN)! Someone go start a 'Sign Haynesworth' thread STAT!
I ALMOST did it.

I statred writting a thread about signing him and saying we can cut Rice and or Flacco to make cap room. I could not bring my self to do it.
I think for the most part any one who would agree with me has left by now or at least have gone back into lurk mode.

Did any of the rest of you ever have a conversation so funny and stupid that you remember it long after it happened?

I'm having one of those moments tonight. A long time ago, a friend of mine and I discussed Band of Brothers and the conversation went from there to WWII guns and sidearms...it went something like this:

ME: Well yeah American GIs did scavenge the corpses of German officers looking for their Lugies.
(rather long awkward pause)
HIM: You do mean Lugers, don't you?

And that was pretty much where it ended.

*facepalm* *snicker* *SNORT*

Im definitely following rule #1 of this thread right now. Side topic, first time hearing a live band in a pub before, IT WAS AWESOME!

ps. PA Ravens, that story is too funny. I hope after you said it you thought about the word you used "Lugies" and said to yourself "oh no." haha

Oh believe me, the two of us were randomly laughing about it for a long time afterwards...kinda like I was yesterday. As I said to my boyfriend last night, "Yes that conversation actually did happen. Do you think I would make up something that stupid on purpose?" *giggle*

It was the combination of the two, Ive seen live bands before and been in pubs before but in Canada they are rarely combined. When they are combined in more of a "bar" atmosphere you usually have to buy tickets. I havent been to a pub back home that just has a house band playing in it before, it was sweet.

Good live music at a pub is the best. We are lucky living by the Gulf, there is live music every night in dozens of venues.

You are correct, sir. Basically a big series of muscle twitches.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hiccup synchronous diaphragmatic flutter!

And did you know that brain freeze actually has a scientific name? :)

Oh, hey, are we talking about Flacco here? Well why the heck not?!

Anyways... I don't like poptarts but I've taken a liking to breakfast bar things. There's these Chexmix chocolate and pretzel bars and Golden Grahams s'mores bars - they're all sugar but that's what I need in the morning.
