Thanks. Its a little rough but Im slowly coming to peace with it. He apparently had a lot of issues with his dad that nobody else knew about, and it just really got to him I guess.

That's rough dude. I went through this over 20 years ago. This is one of those things you never really "get over", but you'll learn to deal with it.

Thanks to all of you for the kind words. It realy helps a lot. And I never thought about it until this happened, but we as a culture joke about death alot, often in very unamusing ways......It was a beautiful service though. He was in the High School Band at my former school, and the band came out and played a beautiful song called October, by Eric Whitacre. Very moving.

Yeah. I just wish he could have seen how many people loved him. The funeral was packed, and all of the high school band kids are wearing hats and pins. The hats have a purple maple leaf (he's canadian and proud of it, and purple is our school color) and his dates on the sides. So many of these people who kill themselves think nobody loves them when in truth tons of people do, we just dont show it enough. Thats why I like your comment dont be embarassed to love well. Its so important.
