Indeed, Patrick Peterson breaking 3-4 tackles on his punt return TD has nothing to do with Harbaugh or Rosburg, but I think we were 31st in the league in kick coverage or something. Either way, it has to improve.

Don't get me wrong, I love Harbs as a coach - he instilled discipline, is loyal to players and coaches, focuses the team, and generally says the right thing to the media (if he makes Steeler fans cranky, that's ok by me). Our team has more chemistry and devotion to each other than I've ever seen in my time as a fan. I voted a 4 because of the Cameron issue - which, honestly, isn't as big of a deal as advertised - and some clock management problems.

All good points

I still love how we have one of the best FO in the NFL and we still complain about Cameron....

Maybe there's something they see that we don't?
I don't really believe that's it. I think they defer to Harbaugh because they have faith in him. What Harbaugh sees in him I don't know.

It's interesting how Cam should pan out.. I'm going to put my faith in Harbaugh then, because well. He's gotten us this far

Ive got no issues here. I think everyone has their panties in a bunch over all the recent action. It is what it is, kids. Go outside and play now.

Go Ravens, I still love you.

It is what it is, and had the question been, "is it what it is?" then maybe your response would have some relevance. As far as Harbs, I am curious why our special teams isn't a bit better myself. Beyond that he has done a pretty good job. Four playoffs has not been a bad record for a "rookie" head coach. On the face of things, he seems to do some stuff that is annoying and perplexing, but we, as fans really do not know what goes on behind closed doors.Since that is the case, I will just go with his record.

Lol. Do you really think anyone's responses, including my own, on this board carry any real relevance??? It is what it is. ;)

Hard to give Harbs a 5 when he brings back BOTH Cam and Flacco. We have seen that this offense has struggled and if Cam can't get it done find someone who can or if you think Cam can get it done, get a new qb. But we have seen what this duo does.

I have 0 confidence in the bad Harbaugh, but that wasn't an option. I don't care about how he rode the most talented roster in the league, at least on defense, to the playoffs four years in a row. I'm tired of the peppy attitude, protecting people who don't deserve it, and utter stupidity in press conferences. And he contributes nothing to either side of the ball that you need a head coach to have experience in. Maybe if the FO wasn't relying on Harbaugh's judgement in personnel decisions he'd be ok, as the one area I have to give Harbaugh credit in is managing egos on team, but he is completely incapable of stepping back and evaluating his players and staff. There is no excuse for keeping guys like Cam Cameron, Jerry Rosburg, and David Reed. Sometimes you have to fire your friends and make the tough decisions as a head coach, and the bad Harbaugh has proven that he is completely incapable of doing that thus far.

No, no relavance at all. That is why Cam was extended even though many here did not want to see it. Lip service aside, the fans really do not carry any weight. But we all like to live with the illusion of relavance. It makes us happy.

I said 4 since I'd only give 5 if he won a SB. He does a good job as a disciplinarian, greatly improved his challenge calls, builds a consistent team with proven results. He has horrible game management and situation coaching, and the STs were horrendous this season. I think his biggest flaw still remains his nepotism and it's bothered me a lot tbh..

I think he's a good manager but not an innovator coach.

Why would anyone have faith in the only coach in the league to have gone to the playoffs four seasons running, and going to the AFCCG two of those four years? Let's get rid of him!

I know that this is another era, but Vincent Lombardi would have chewed his players and coaches out for losing the NE game, rather than praising everyone. I have been scouting FA kickers and going over the stats of potential college draftees since the miss. We need to bring someone in to challenge Cundiff even if it's Graham. There is no way that a great coach would just hand him the job after all of his misses this year.

I would have gone 4, but I have to go 3 because of the way he seems to back up Cam no matter what. It seems clear that when Pags got on Cam about the offense's lack of production, Harbs backed Cam over Pags. It also seems clear that Harbs is willing to stick his neck out for Cam over the players. This really bothers me, and I am a bit concerned that it may come back to bite us somewhere down the road.

If the offense continues to sputter and John doesn't make a change, I'll have issues... otherwise, there's nothing to complain about, guys. We are too spoiled!

I voted 2 because after all, you said "right now" lol

I didn't like what (at least to me) came off as a somewhat arrogant attitude this season. I don't like the new fad of throwing the players under the bus every time some decision gets questioned. I definitely don't like his blind devotion to Cam, which I believe will sink us next season.

He makes bad decisions as far as clock management and although he has improved, he does not manage his challenges well nor seem to know the right thing to challenge.

I'm actually kind of at a loss as to what he does do around this team other than make the occassional inspirational speech in the locker room. It is pretty apparent that he is hands off as far as defense and offense and we stunk it up in the one area that is supposedly his expertise.

Yeah, in the right now I'm not very confident in Harbaugh at all.
I agree w/ almost everything you said, except for the challenges. I thought he's told to challenge/not challenge based off what his coaches up in the booth see. So he's trusting them to provide him w/ the best info to make a decision to challenge or not.

Imagine when this team ends it's playoff streak. People will want to fire everyone, including Ozzie and they would want Biscotti to sell the team, even if it's to Peter Angelos.
We truly are spoiled! 2 conference championship apperences in 4 years. Not a lot of other teams have done this.

I gave him a 4 because I don't think that he deserves a 5 until we make it past the divisional round. Still, I am very confident that we will be in the hunt again next year.

Ummm we have made it past the divisional round twice, unless you mean the conference championship.

I agree we are spoiled but we all want that Super Bowl trophy again. It has been 11 years and we have been so close, we are just getting a little restless.

Well yeah, but at least we are contending every year, but because this league is so good it's just so hard to win. Think about the Bills and Vikings, they have been to the super bowl 4 times, and yet they have never won one. So i would still consider us lucky.

The only reason I am not a 100% believe is because of his staff. He will learn the hard way that his fate is tied with Cam.

I also hate Cam, but i think we need to calm down a bit. He ended the season on a good note against the Pats. And i remember when Fox played like crap his entire first season and people were calling for his head but then he played a couple of good games at the end of the season and all of a sudden people were gaining faith in him.
Let's not be mad over something that we can't change, that's just a waste of our own time.

I don't expect him to be calling plays. Given his background, I don't really expect him to have his hand that deeply into the offense and defense. However, HE is the one who said he would be more involved in the offense this past season. Personally, I didn't see any difference so if he did so, he might as well take it back out.

I guess if our ST (which is Harbaugh's background) didn't stink it up, it could go a long way to changing my attitude. This is his area after all, and he should be more involved here.
The sad thing is, that is where he is the most involved in. LOL, man that's sad.
