Dont Give Up!

I know we are 2-3, but look at the rest of the leauge most teams have 2 to3 losses! Lets stand behind our team and support them! Enough with the Flacco and Troy talk. OUR team is playing horrible, lets not point the finger and throw any one under the bus!

I think folks are a little discouraged because the season started so well. Even our two losses had high points and did not suggest a total melt down. I think Flacco was not ready for the Colts defense which is so fast and the defense had to contend with a much better offense than the first 3 or 4 games. I think the coaching staff owns some of the blame. Bottom line -- it's a new staff, new QB and we have to get through our growing pains.

People need to be patient we still have alot of games left! I did not expect to go 16-0, and I am sure you guys did not as well! We played the Titans and Steelers hard, that means we must have something going. We mess up one game real bad and people are giving up.

We will find out more about this team and coaching staff this week because of the egg laid yesterday then anything else that has happened this year, and its a long list.
McNair retired
Jo retied
Quinn Syp blew out his knee
Kyle screwed up his shoulder
Injuries in TC
Troy gets sick
Flacco gets the nod 4 hrs before the Rams game
Bramlet gets his walk through at the hotel and an hour before the game
Kelly Gregg's simple knee scope has complications and he needs Microfracture surgery
All of this before the season started
then there is IKE 'nuff said B)
not even going into the "missed" TD against Pitt and Sugg's roughing the QB
Anyone think of anything else? Season is only 6 weeks young. What does not kill you makes you stronger.

I agree! the REDSKINS lost to the RAMS yesterday.. & DALLAS lost tony romo for 4-6 weeks and the game agianst the cardinals. I wouldnt be too shocked if the browns beat the Giants the way this season is going!!! :)

Exactly, its not like we have lost to bad teams. We have lost to 2 potential playoff contenders and the Colts who arguably played their best football of the year yesterday. Not to mention how many important defensive starters we are missing.

I mean really...
IF we are going to loose to some one it would have been the colts any way.
Yeah they were 2-2, but the talent they have....
I didnt expect to win that one any way.
We have more loosing ahead folks.

Not negative thinking, just a little reality.
I will still wear my purple even if we loose the rest of the season.
Because I am THAT kind of fan.

Looking at the schedule it doesn't look to good at all for us. Down the stretch we are basically going to face nothing, but playoff teams from last season. Unless something crazy happens for us I don't see us ending the season with a winning record.

But that's just me.

Of course you don't... Its funny because i'm sure down the road you'll be one of those people that if we DO win a championship saying 'OH I KNEW WE WOULD'

The season is a test for us for sure, but its nothing I don't think we can't get past.

My first time to the board this week and I'm glad I started in the "positive" thread!

I was hopeful for a win and I certainly didn't expect the loss to be that bad, but I'm hoping that the team can build from this and give us a great season. I haven't given up on the Ravens because I don't expect them to give up.

We can most certainly win the next 5 games, so while I am holding out hope of a nice string of wins, it all begins this Sunday and there's no real point in looking too far ahead. I know it's cliche' but we need to take everything week by week.

50% of playoff teams do not return to the playoffs the following season.

OK so we're starting a rookie QB. OK, but wouldn't it be great if Flacco started reading defenses properly allowing him to release the ball sooner and stopped overthrowing while on the move and underthrowing to the other teams defense? Wouldn't that be astounding?

Let us pray

Hate to say I told you so but here it goes. Bramlet should still be here, he knows the offense as well or better than Flacco, Bouman & Smith, he was in Miami with Cam, remember. He could play till Troy puts more weight on and gets healthy.

I know hind site is 20/20 but the coaching staff didn't see this coming at all!!!
