I'm sure the majority of the people here are optimistic about our team (as they should be imo) which would make you guys in the minority.

Just my thoughts:

When you consider the possibilites the other AFCN teams have for improvement through the draft, combined with their current roster talent and coaching staffs, they look to have the potential to be definate contenders for an AFCN division title next season.

I trust Ozzie and Eric in evaluating field talent so I think we will do well in the draft once again, we also have alot of fantastic talent on our current roster...but it remains to be seen how much of that talent will be carried over into next season, meaning how many of our FA's will be retained and I feel that may be our downfall in losing too many vital underated pieces. This locker room really had a special unique feel this season concerning its talent and chemistry. It would be a plus for next season if it could remain in tact as much as possible, considering what looks like to be a tougher schedule, that chemistry and leadership should not be overlooked.

Also, when I heard Cam say that Steve, Ozzie and Harbs were never in question about retaining him, I have to admit that shook my faith in their judgement. The one thing I do have faith in is our players and that is the positive I am holding on to at this point. Am I optimistic? Realistically, I have to say not at this time, more like a feeling of "numbness". I will look forward to the draft and FA, and adopt a "wait and see" attitude. But, my black and purple heart sides with the players right now and I sincerely hope things work out for the best for them in the hopes of no more squandered time and wasted opportunities, the management of the Ravens on the other hand have alot to prove to regain my trust at this point, imho. Just being honest with my feelings...

But Go Ravens!!!

im optimistic on our next season.

The bengals wont be a power house but they will be beter with a full off season behind them and a little experiance, they will challenge for the title but will probibly be 2nd or 3rd.

the steelers will be a little off next year with there defensive and offensive lines, but they have experiance to bring the newer kids up to par, i see them challenging for the title, but i think a few away losses will leave them out of the race with 2 games to go.

the Browns will be in Full upgrade mode, they will finish with a losing season, but it will be 7-8 close but no cigar. but an influx of new personel and players will fill this teem with energy and a mindset to prove themselves.

oh our beloved Ravens, sweeping the division will be harder then last season but still managable, tough road games will hinder us but a division title will be ours again, with the retaining of some dead weight and the possiblity of having 2 new starters on the Oline our offence will be limited to say the least, with new stars breaking out last season and the continued improving of our rookies with a full off season, i can see our defense being the brick wall it can be, the new DC shouldnt worry fans, he has seen the last 2 seasons from the side line and should understand our players strengths. then again he could be the cam cameron of DC's
eather way we win the division by 1 game, get 1 playoff game at home play the giant at their house for the conferance game then go to Festivus Maximus against the Saints.
