Bad timing on Flacco's part in canceling a very important event (to the locals). As it is Flacco's popularity is pretty polarized at the moment with a lot of people thinking he is terrible and the others thinking he is the gift from God!

From a PR perspective he needs the people on his side as much as possible and from that regard a bone headed move on his part! Either way people will forget if he wins a ton of games next season!
