Isn't / Wasn't the Ravens official store, as that link and Yahoo incorrectly reported. It is clever, though.

And this is why I hate the internet news and bloggers. They "copy" a story and pass it along without checking any facts first. This Yahoo blogger changed their article from the one they linked to get more attention. I saw this on yahoo this morning, did a quick search and found it to be bogus in a bout 2 minutes. Yahoo even put the "source" at the bottom of the originial article ( [url="http://www.jockular.com/13023/nfl-merchansider-adds-smart-[profanity deleted]-twist-to-buying-billy-cundiff-jersey"]http://www.jockular.com/13023/nfl-merchansider-adds-smart-[profanity deleted]-twist-to-buying-billy-cundiff-jersey[/url] ) I saw that it read "online merchandiser" and not the Official team store.

I sent Yahoo a note and they have since updated it (im sure not because of me) to say: "[i][b]Update:[/b] We were erroneous in assuming that this team store in question had anything to do with the Baltimore Ravens. The team has confirmed this with us, and we regret the error, as well as any misunderstanding that came from the original post."[/i]

Its funny just as it was, no need make things up. Sorry for the rant just media today blows. Check the facts. This isnt like sharing on facebook this is your job!

Imagine Billy receiving that box wide left from his doorstep, He open's it up and see the beutifully placed Cunwhiff embroidered into his Jersey, then realizes that he has to pay $100+ for a jersery that messes with him every time he sees it. I would have it framed up and put it in the living room near the TV that he will be watching Baltimore play on mostly because he's gone

Saw it early, that's cold. I kind of feel bad for Billy.
It's kind of like when you fail a class, and you know you failed and don't need anyone else telling you and you just want to move on, but your parents keep bringing it up and using it against you and punishing you for it. Must suck for him right now, he probably can't even go outside without being made fun of.

Billy's in Arizona and hopefully not reading the internet.

He seemed determined to handle this well. Unfortunately I think his reputation is permanently damaged.

As for the yahoo story, that was wrong to claim the Ravens franchise was behind this Cundiff joke, when the Ravens had nothing to do with it.
