It's nice to see that the Ravens continue to promote from within. I thinks Pees will do a good job as the DC...he's knows the system and knows that it works. No doubt, he will add a few wrinkles trying to improve it.

I'm definitely not as enamored with Cam Cameron coming back, even though he has - as a whole - been successful. The apparent internal conflict between him and Joe Flacco can't be good for the team, or for Flacco, in the long term. Since Cam is staying, my hope is that Harbaugh steps on Cam's ego a little and hires a QB coach that Flacco is comfortable with, and who can help him grow as a QB and team leader..

A minute agoYeah, I remember watching the Patriots game , and with Torrey Smith WIDE OPEN, I can remember saying "Dang, Cam just missed 7pts" Then, later same thing. "Dang, Cam just overthrew Torrey again" Dang, that Cam has got to go!!!!!

I watched the same game, and also watched the replay, which showed Torrey slowing down considerably in mid-route and running the wrong direction when the balls in the air.

No person with football experience would call that an overthrow.

But it was Ray Rice's fault he didn't get the 1st down on that 3rd and 3 draw play call, when we couldn't run the ball at all.

Definitely his fault.

A minute agoYeah, and when Cam threw that interception to Spikes, that was bad.

I'll check raise you 2 bad play calls for every mistake you think Flacco made in that game.

You make your list, mine will be at least twice as long.

Well if Pee's, our new defensive coordinator, isn't a genius we have no chance of making it to the AFC championship again.

We made it to to the AFC championship on talent alone. When my friends and I, from the couch, can correctly guess Cams calls 90% of the time, he's TOO PREDICTABLE. Just because we've made it so far doesn't mean that our coordinator is good.

Remove Ray Rice and we are likely a bottom 10 offense. Put our defense as only the 10th overall, not 3rd, we don't get a 1st round bye and we would have been the ones embarrassed by Denver.

Bisciotti didn't want Cam back last year but Harbaugh fought for him. I'm really surprised that Cam is back yet again. He cripples us and we will never make it to the Super Bowl with him. I feel very sorry for Ray Lewis because next year will truly be his last and we will do so without a shot at winning it all.

The only reason Joe holds the ball is because the routes that are called are flat out worthless and take too long to develop. He's not creative and refuses to adjust his style according to our roster. Its stupid to waste super bowl chances because Harbs and Cam are best buds. We will not win a super bowl with this clown calling plays. Harbs claimed he was going to be more involved in the offense last year but that's was total BS. Not one time Harbs has been involved because Harbs doesn't know offense. Apparently he doesn't know special teams either because we wasn't to good at all.

CAm isn't a bad coordinator... The issue is he is not utilizing the amazing talents we have on this team. He doesn't have the creativity to adjust and make things happen with what he has. That's why I wanted a new coordinator. Please just sign him for 1 year so we can easily move on next year.

Ugh...shaking my head ruefully. Another year. At least bring in a bright communicative QB coach with an innovative offensive mind. That way when Cam finally craps out you will have someone in house.

Wahoo! Another season of offensive under-achievement! We're not likely to bring Evans back after he drop the biggest pass of his career, O-line is a wreck...stil!, and Grubbs is a FA...we've got some serious work to do on offense!

Forget about Cam, Jerry the special teams coach should be fired, rehired, and fired again. Harbaugh has a special teams background and the special teams was one of the worst units in the league this past year. Every kick returner just ran into the back of their teammate and fumbled. The only returner who had any sense was Zibikowski because he would down every kick. Find someone better for that position period.

We all know how the Cam Cameron experiment will end...we have seen it the last 4 seasons. If we were a top 10 or 5 offense I would be ok with the guy sticking around.

I actually think this is a good thing. Our offense has gotten better each year and its due to continuity. If you don't agree, look at the Oakland Raiders. No continuity, no playoff berths
offense has gotten better? moving from the low teens to the mid-teens in overall offense rank in 4 seasons is hardly what I would call improvement. thats rather stagnant when you're talking about a team that has Super Bowl aspirations

At the end of the day we have an insanely talented offense. Our offensive unit should have been doing far more than what they did. The problem is they have this guy out there creating schemes that don't allow our players to get open and don't fool any defense. As Greg Cossell put it, with the plays Cam creates, our offense looks like its from the 1960's. Until we get rid of him our very promising offense will never reach their full potential. Just look at Anquan Boldin. Don't get me wrong hes been great for us, but we have seen him play to his potential in a different system in Arizona. Clearly something's amiss; I just don't understand why the front office can't see it.
The Ravens offense posted those stats in the article in spite of Cam Cameron--not because of him. After seeing Joe dominate Sunday as the pocket simply disintegrated around him every play was clear evidence of it.

Well with keeping Cam we will need to get a better o-line coach. And a QB coach that can keep Cam in check when he is making bad decisions. It is crazy how Joe has one of his worse years when Cam was the QB coach, but yet he gets another shot. Last year I at least understood why they kept him, but this just seems ridiculous.

What a joke. 4 seasons as OC = 4 years of failing to make it to the big game. It's time to grow our offense into the serious threat it always should've been. Cam isn't the guy to do that.

I'm literally sick to my stomach as a Ravens fan.

@t.o that clown called the plays when we got to the AFC championship and he called the play that should have won the game and even after that we were in position to tie the damn game he will do fine every year you people want him gone and every year we get into the playoffs and if someone says thats not eenough would rather have a team that misses out on the playoffs every year, ya know maybe Ozzie knows what he is doing and maybe so does John

I understand that fans are upset that Cameron will stay. But all we can do hope for ANOTHER good season next year. For people to be jumping from the wagon already is a little crazy. We were very close last season, and 3 before that. All I can say is Go Ravens. And I want the giants to beat patriots in the SB!
